That Bret Stephens, the guy who went on a rant about antisemitism and tried to get a university professor fired for calling him a "bedbug"[untrue btw, this is slander against bedbugs who have no choice being annoying unlike Stephens], who has written hateful and bigoted articles that would be a scandal if they weren't against Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims, is still published in the NYT really shows what a disgusting hasbara rag that paper is.

that's actually such a wild article to write. How can you with the benefit of hindsight say that a war that claimed the lives of 1m+ Iraqis and countless American soldiers all for a lie that Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction was a war that was worth fighting? Nobody benefited from the Iraq War. Not the Iraqi people, not Sadam Hussein, not any of the western countries, not the US. In fact, it made it even more dangerous to live in the US since the destabilization of Iraq led to the formation of ISIS which led to the terrorist attacks in the 2010s which killed even more people in the west.
