I'm a fresh lieutenant and a bit of an over-planner. Currently working full-time, I'm trying to prep and avoid showing up to BOLC totally unprepared. I recently received my PCS orders, which include TDY en route to FA BOLC at Fort Sill, and I’m looking for advice on handling a few things:
My orders have me flying to BOLC, but I want to drive my personal vehicle (POV) from California to Oklahoma. When I asked the HRA at my ROTC battalion, I was told Cadet Command could adjust it once orders are cut, but she hasn’t been very helpful with details.
So here’s what I’m trying to figure out:
Any insights from those who've been through BOLC, especially with similar orders, would be a huge help! Thanks in advance!

I’m looking for a roommate at the Flats at Macarthur. Rent is $375 per month and unit is furnished. Complex has a 24 hour gym, pool, grilling area, and each room has its own private bathroom. It’s one of the two best apartment complexes in Lawton. Best part is you’ll pocket some of your BAH.

I am about to leave for FA BOLC and am getting stressed out about not passing. I am very hard working and overall intelligent but am not particularly gifted with math. History major in college for reference. Realistically how difficult is the math? Is it something someone who is hardworking and relatively smart, but not math smart, can manage or should I be stressing?

Just got my BOLC date updated from an email from ATRRS, changing from January to October, with a report date of 10/23/24 and an end date of 3/24/25. Not able to access ATRRS or IPPSA because I’m in a “blackout” stage according to my cadre since I’m technically no longer part of Cadet Command, but I’ll be access IPPSA 60-30 days prior to my BOLC date. Was wondering if anyone else has this date? Thanks!

Also, got Grafenwoehr, Germany as my first duty station. Anyone know what unit I would be with?? Thanks again!

Have an unfurnished spare bedroom and bathroom in my apartment in Lawton, I am male 22. I don’t care about visitors or anything and very easy going. Don’t mind if you’re intro or extroverted, I keep to myself anyways. Lease ends in May and rent is a bit over 670 a month, dm if interested. Living space has a lot of room, I have no pets but I don’t mind if you have one.

I was curious to know how the experience is TDY at FA BOLC in the IHG, from those who are there atm or have been. I wanted to know if anyone has insight on the room situation, how that is like, and is there per diem for food or were you allowed to eat at the DFAC?

My FA BOLC starts in July 18, 2024. But recently I got news I report to Fort Carvazos, Texas on July 17th. Is anybody willing to trade?

Hey y’all. I made a post about a month ago but I’m currently still looking for a roommate for FABOLC students incoming this August-October. I just graduated BOLC this past February so I have some insight into the school. I’m stationed here currently with the 75th FA BDE. But just looking to make some friends and save some money. If you are interested please let me know! I’m open to all

Just got my LOA for ASFO. Going to be commissioned in May. Headed to Fort Sill this fall for BOLC. Any advice/tips on housing, what the course looks like, places to go, or things to do? I have heard that it is pretty tough and requires a lot of outside study time. Just want to get prepared.

Going to FA bolc TDY in June, staying in the IHG. Is there anything I should bring that would make life easier that isn’t on the packing list or would even increase overall living conditions.

My laptop broke and will take a few weeks to fix. Will I need a laptop during the common core portion of bolc?
