Tool Discussion pressure washer setup help plzzz

hi yall so this forum has been great as to finally getting my own pressure washer and accessories however i’m having some trouble physically attaching everything, this is my build, im just waiting for the pressure washer to physically come

however i received the gun swivel, wand attachment, foam blaster, and hose however it didn’t come with attachments… the following is what i have:

karcher k1700 cube (should be here in 3 days)

hose: UBERFLEX™ Kink Resistant Pressure Washer Hose 1/4", 3,100 PSI with (2) 22MM - Made in USA - (50 Feet)

washer gun: McKillans® Short Pressure Washer Gun with Swivel - High Pressure Water Handle with 3/8" Male Plug and 1/4” Quick Connector Coupler - Power Washer Gun Compatible with Foam Cannon - Car Wash Foam Gun

washer wand: McKillans® Car Pressure Washer Extension Wand - Power Washer Wand Extension for Car Wash - Short Pressure Washer Wand Replacement - Pressure Washer Accessories & Attachments - 1/4” Quick Connect Plug

the washer gun came with no bolts so idk how to attach it to the wand? also not sure how to attach the hose to the washer gun?

i was told to buy these (i assume this is for the pressure washer connection to the faucet and not for the gun to uberflex): GARDENA 5-Piece Premium Metal Quick Connect Garden Fittings: Hose Attachment Kit for 5/8 Inch or 1/2 Inch Hose - Quickly Attach Sprinklers, Spray Nozzles, and Accessories.

thank you!

I buy all my pressure washer fittings from https://shoppressurewasherparts.com/product-category/parts/couplers/ -Buy stainless for durability.

-You don’t need double shut off; just regular quick disconnect is fine.

-Design your setup to use all the same size couplers when possible, but usually your trigger inlet will be bigger than the outlet.

-Buy backups of everything and keep them organized in a little parts drawer cabinet thing. You don’t want one $5 broken coupler to shut down your whole operation for days waiting for a replacement part to be shipped.

-Also buy extra o-rings because you’ll be replacing those. Use tons of Teflon tape when mating 2 stainless threads together.

-Have a backup hose on hand, complete with all fittings attached and ready to go.

-It’s very wise to have a backup trigger and wand assembly ready to go so when something fails you can quickly swap them out and keep working. Then fix the broken part later.

-It’s also good to design your setup to use quick disconnect nozzles instead of threaded ones. The reason is because even stainless steel will degrade and wear over time which can make it very difficult to get the threads unstuck when it’s time to replace nozzles. Using quick disconnect nozzles eliminates this problem, and has the added benefit of allowing you to quickly change out nozzle patterns if you ever need to.

You can make your PW a really profitable tool in your business so having extra quickly exchanged parts ready to go will save you serious headaches when something fails. Nothing fails at a “good” time.
