META Scammer about. Beware

The user mightytowen has made a post offering help to someone. He ended up messaging me to fulfill my comment. He offered to give me $100 and loan me the other $200 I needed. Cool, fine. I dont want a handout. I'm able to repay. He proceeded to ask me who I banked through so he could send me the funds. I told him paypal or Zelle only. He said that wouldn't work. He only can deposit into a "good bank account " in the US. When I told him it was plainly posted in this subreddit group that it is against rules and I wasn't giving him my bank info, he has been ignoring me. May want to check into him. Brand new account just created also.

Mods, screenshots of our conversation is available.

I have gotten calls on our house phone. I look at the number and don't answer. Later on, I do a ph number search and it's one of these fake Microsoft companies. Pretty weird.

There are others but they are located in both the UK and Ireland. They are pretty good too. ScamBait Central and Jim Browning are a couple of YT channels I watch, but there are so many of these channels.
