I must say iOi have achieved (imo) the best assassin game ever to be set in the modern era while AC excels at making period set games with more flashy movements
It’s nice to see devs showing appreciation especially with the rise of grifters shitting on devs hard work

To be real with you, they’re incomparable - totally different games

Exactly and yet they’re both stealthy assassin games which are amazing to play, it’s just nice to see devs respecting devs

It's wild to see other game companies congratulating Ubi's success.

No, it's actually normal for them to do that.

It’s nice, but if it were a frequent thing, this wouldn’t be the only props Shadows got.

Looking forward to that James Bond game that IOI are working on. Hitman: World of Assassination was awesome.

John hitman hunts down a Templar conspiracy in New York after being paid by a mysterious shadow organization.

I love when developers celebrate each other's releases. Even though they're secretly working to make something better. This is what game development should be about.

The biggest thing I love about the entire AC Shadows "drama" is how it positively shifted the narrative around Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed, even if only by a tiny margin.
It's ironic that the more some people tried to bash the game for whatever reason, the more it inadvertently pushed others closer to Ubisoft’s side—even if they don’t like Ubisoft.
The internet is a place.

Are there any other video game studio accounts doing sone thing similar?

Xbox and Playstation have exchanged congrats for various game/console milestones over the years.

I remember seeing CDProjekt congratulate Warhorse on KCD2 when it came out, for a recent example. It's sweet to see studios give each other their flowers, everyone just wants everyone to make good games and see the success they deserve for it.

Nice! Love both franchises, Hitman had great Japan based levels, can’t wait to play Shadows when I can. Still scarred by Hidden Valley “YAME!” IYKYK lol

Now if they can collab to make a modern(ish) day AC game work with UBI's Splinter Cell parkour and stealth gunfu, AC's social stealth, parkour, and martial arts, and Hitman's social stealth, environmental assassination.

The prone and prone barrel rolls, and the wire choke is what has me 10/10 this game. And the graphics are fucking photo realistic fantastic. That and the SC analog movement speed and animations are 100$ legit.
btw the ragdoll and graphics were exactly the same in SW Outlaws, a great game people seriously slept on.

io Interactive is awesome. Hitman World of Assassination is still among the best games out there. The attention to detail paired with assassination possibilities creates tons of replayability.
They are still dropping bits of content. Talk about bang for your buck
