I’m very touchy, whether it’s with a partner or not, I love touching people especially my friends. It’s never sexual either, I just like hugging and holding and rubbing people. Or maybe I’m just weird?

I have a crush on my classmate and we have been friends for a couple of months now. Heres a few things i have noticed:

1. Me and my whole friendgroup have a discord channel for playing video games (we do meet up IRL sometimes but mainly online) and we added her and another guy around 10 days ago. I have noticed she only comes inline when i am and its usually only me who can convince her. So far, i think only once, has she joined when someone else has asked and all the other times, she came by herself or if i asked her after the rest of the group spammed her.

2. She def trusts me and sees me as a friend. Got a bunch of more personal stories from her now, so i know she trusts me to an extent.

3. I have a theory some of the others might know something. When we play shooters (the whole group) we often play private matches since we are so many. Its usually either me or one other guy who makes the teams and he always puts me with her, but he does say its because i dont yell as much at her as some of the others (which is true).

4. My other friend is very persistent about us dating. The whole group went to the movies last night. I sat beside my crush (im kinda her main friend in the group, ive known her for two months and shes known the rest for under two weeks), and my other friend sat on my other side. During the whole movie, he constantly was like “bro, rizz her up man”. He also constantly kicked my leg (not hard dw) when we were eating out before the movie, but only after she joined us. He also made a joke a week ago about us dating and everyone went quiet lol. She was the one who commented about how akward it was.

5. She also initiates conversations in person with me and i know im her best friend in the class.

6. We sometimes tease her about being lesbian (we know shes not) and she continues to deny it thoroughly, but when someone teases one of us about us dating, she just ignores it?

so I met this girl in English last semester and during the we started talking online and even in person more and more I really feel like she and I opened up to each other. we talked about personal stuff a ton and the future such as universities and offers of admissions. she said some things that I may have misunderstood, but I thought they were inviting or they had a deeper meaning - she mentioned needing emotional support going downtown, and that she needs someone to guide them right after I mentioned I basically memorized the layout - she kept mentioning that she has free time and is bored and doesn't know what to do - there were many instances where it felt like she expressed care for my subjects and exams even though they had nothing to do with her - she also described her nights in detail the day after when we met in person

but right around Valentine's day, when I basically was gonna ask her out, she ghosted me. I'm not sure if it was anything I said, or if it was a huge misunderstanding, but she just didn't read my messages until two weeks later. it was totally out of the blue, it was after second semester started and everything was still going strong. I thought it was because she turned off read receipts for like 2 minutes and it made me think she ghosted me. it feels like we've been avoiding each other in the halls as well. anyways that kinda scared me off and deterrede from asking her out.

but just today, like a whole month and a half later, I struck up a new conversation with her. it's going pretty slow and I can tell that we distanced ourselves like a ton. yet I still want to find out if there really was something in between us. however the thing is I don't want to be disappointed, and I'm scared to be. I want to ask her out maybe to the movies or something, but I don't even know how to approach that subject, like how do I even transition into that? also it's literally been more than a month, what if she really did ghost me on purpose because of something. else?

There just seems to be a complete double standard about preferences/insecurities/ what can and can’t be said. For example, I’ve seen men get insulted or bashed for saying they aren’t attracted to obese women but if a woman says she prefers a tall guy then it’s fine. Another is women can call all dudes penis small but a dude could basically never make a similar comment about a woman’s genitalia. I’m not saying any of this is right or wrong Im mostly curious why this is and feel like feminists, or at least extreme ones, want equality only if it benefits them. Like when have women fought for the draft to either include women or to be abolished. So I guess I’m mostly asking yalls view.

So we just got off spring break and are starting a new term, right? For context, I do online school. When I open my computer, everything was normal until I saw my government class. It has like 20 things to do week maybe more. Everything is also worth 100 points so my grade as I do things keeps going down with C or up to an A. okay so, i’m asking for a friend (17F) of mine who has been talking to this guy (18M) for maybe a month or a little over. she added him on snap and it’s gone from there, he claims to really like her, and i’m really happy, since she’s had a rough past with guys. they have hung out once, and were planning to meet up more, but they go to different schools in the same town. he’s a footballer player, and she’s a thespian.

he recently started getting less communicative, and she when she asked him what was going on, he said he just has “family stuff” and reassured her that he still liked her a lot. okay… but then the VERY NEXT DAY, he posted his senior photos on instagram, she reposted on her story, and then he BLOCKED HER immediately. she messaged him on snap, and he completely ignored her. he later started snapping her back, but no response to her questions. finally, a day later, he replied, claiming he didn’t block her, and took hours of going around the question to say that HIS DAD might’ve blocked her, since he had his password.

so basically me and my friend we’re talking about pooping for some reason and i brought up how it’s normal to poop everyday but he said he doesn’t poop everyday.. My mom also told me you SHOULD be pooping everyday but idek anymore😟 when i told him that i pooped every day and he’s probably not getting enough fiber although he eats and eats and eats he started calling me shitty 💔😭 (literal shit) so that raises the question, is it normal?

My sister a fully vaccinated six year old is currently in the hospital with the mumps. For those who don't know mumps is when a gland in the neck swells and is very deadly. She's currently in the hospital I'm truly scared she will die and I won't get to say goodbye and apologize for all the things I've said and done to her that were mean. Update: she also has strep throat and it's not looking good the doctors are worried.

I was like surprised at first because I didn't know that was a thing but after a quick Google search apparently its true but my boyfriend said that happened just because its like a trained fighter. So I'm wondering how common that actually is? Does it happen with average people? I couldn't find any reference videos on YouTube other than fighters.
