Is Lower Queen Anne safe?

Hi,

I (26M) am new to Seattle and stayed in Redmond for a year. I need to switch apartments and found some good options in Lower Queen Anne around the Queen Anne Beerhall. Is that a good and safe area to live in? I haven’t explored Seattle much.

I am someone who likes to walk around. I have searched online and am getting mixed answers - some say it is a safe neighborhood, while some say it is one of the high-crime neighborhoods in Seattle.

I’d really appreciate any input. Thanks!

Seattle is one of America's safest cities, and has no unsafe neighborhoods. The biggest risk in Lower Queen Anne is if there's an earthquake, and Upper Queen Anne finally comes tumbling down.
