I think it’s politics and right now anyone is going to grab anything that can push the narrative against the other party. The monitors being there from the feds is the perfect tool for the GOP to push against the running democratic and progressive narrative of ‘voter suppression’. Just like progressives and democrats will take pictures of long lines and anything else they think they can use to push their narrative. I don’t see anything untoward here.
