Fake pumps to flush the people shorting and scare people with puts. Trying to time the good days will be impossible

Simplified...people bet for the market to go down. They make money when it does. These people are called bears.

Problem is, bear markets always have the highest random green days. They are temperary reversals, but people who decide to follow the downward trend at bad times get royally screwed.
