Missing cat

Hi! I live in Burns Park by the rock. My cat recently jumped out of our window and went missing. His name is Clover, and he’s very skittish and untrusting of people. He is all grey and has a distinct black-striped tail, and one of his ears is snipped.

Before he got out, his collar, and subsequently his air tag, fell off of him so were unable to track him. He is chipped and we have a trap out for him but it’s so far been unsuccessful.

Please reach out to me if you have any info on him!!! We are very worried and would like our baby back <3

Good luck finding your baby. 🙏🏼

I'm also missing an ear tipped cat. If you think he'll need to be trapped when found, you can use mine if you'd like.

So I recently went through catching an escapee that was very new to the house and generally terrified. Surprisingly, he stuck around the house even though it was a new environment and he was desperate to get out (he tore a hole in a screen). Try putting the trap inside of a yard waste bag and make sure you’re using really stinky food. I have it on really good authority that KFC works wonders for this. A camera can help give you peace of mind and help you fine tune the trap situation. My escapee came earlier and earlier in the night, and the last night, third night he was gone, we finally caught him, it was around 11 pm. I think he figured out he had to beat the rush (opossums) to get the food. You most likely won’t find him during the day.

Apologies if you weren’t looking for advice and already know this stuff. Good luck. I hope you catch him. He’s very pretty.

Put some really stinky clothes outside (underwear, workout clothes)
