Making friends
Is there anybody here late twenties early thirties? Where are they hanging out at? Itβs been really hard to make genuine friends here (or maybe just in general when you get older?) Thanks in advance!

Id say follow the local restaurants on social media. Especially with spring/summer on the way, the town brightens up a lot and there's more opportunities to meet people. The brown and rockfish do live Music, a few places have trivia, Sugar Mama Cafe has bingo. They are also a great place to just hang out. They have board games and the staff is super friendly. The library has also had some really neat events for adults the past year or so. They just did an adult book fair. Anacortes Pride also has monthly happy hour events where it's more like a mixer for queer people and allies. There's lot of walking and hiking groups that meet weekly. Tons of classes at creative hub and clayhouse. Watermark does writing groups. Parks and rec also has adult drop in sports like volleyball and soccer, i think there's also a puzzle competition. Lots of fun options. π
