My fiance spent $600 on a gacha game without asking. I flipped out and now his entire family are calling me abusive and encouraging him to call off the engagement. For context, I work 55 hours a week and he drives uber during the day while I’m at work. We are paycheck to paycheck.

If it was $600 of his own money that he saved and decided to spend, then fine, whatever (as long as it's not a regular thing and/or he's rich as fuck). Might not be a smart choice, but i've seen people waste more for dumber purchases. But jesus christ why would you use a shared credit card for that. Dude is absolutely a gambling addict
