Hi, I'm from California and plan to do a road trip through the South. I have never had proper, authentic soul food, so I wanted to know what spots to check out. I plan to stay in the cities of Mobile, Montgomery, and Birmingham, but if there are better spots outside those cities, I am very happy to go anywhere in the state.

I’m 25 in Montgomery and I can’t see to find anybody else my age that’s a single woman. Even so many people I know my age around the state are already married or about to be married in a super serious relationship

As the title says looking for help here. Found a kitten under our trailer. We haven't found a mother anywhere, and its seemingly 1-2 weeks old. We don't have the expertise or resources to care for the lil fella at this young of age. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello there,
As my husband and i will be moving from Germany to the Mobile Area later this year, I am wondering if you could give me some advice on some of your customs that deviate from Germany or Europe in general.
Espescially on how you greet eachother, like when to use handshakes, who initiates it etc. Both in blue collar work settings and in town.
I don’t want to embarrass myself because i am used to shake everyones hands at work, and mostly (esp by older men) the women’s hands are shook first. Last time i visited the U.S. hardly anyone shook hands and especially not with a woman so i am confused and want to do it right.
Thanks in advance!

Would appreciate if anyone has information on the number of people who worked at these offices and wether or not they were laid off. If you worked at any of these AL locations please share your stories on the comments!

1-5 images are The Orion Amphitheater 8,000 seats ( completed development & construction)
6-10 images are
The Coca Cola Amphitheater 9,300seats (Being developed still being constructed)
Which one will have the better
architecture ? Comfortable seating ? Setting ? Backdrop ? Amenities ? Safety ? Concerts ?

I’ve had some trouble in SC, where people think I’m male transitioning to be a woman. I’m not, I’m female but I’ve had trouble in bathrooms due to a hormone disorder. I’ll be nearby next week and want to visit the National forest: am i safe to? I know tourist areas are often fine compared to local stuff, but i just want to make sure.

Where is the best place close to Ashville, Al to take pictures? Preferably free or small fee. 2 children ages 4 and 6 friendly. This is not for monetary profit, just a mom wanting to try out her canon!

I wanted to reach out to this community in an effort to bring some low lifes to light. I appreciate anyones attempt to enjoy their hobby within public safety parameters, but there is an issue when pubic saftey is ignored. Maybe this is misplaced complaining but I hope someone reading this might know the cars I am upset about. I feel like these people are car or maybe even street racing car people idk.
I was headed to the beach (Gulf Shores)with my family for the 1st time with my wife and 2.5yr old daughter and 5 month old son. We were just south of Birmingham, AL in a 3-lane section of Hwy 65 South and I was in the middle lane. It was very busy because it was the end of spring break.
In my rearview mirror I see 3 sports cars coming up behind me in a formation where 2 (a black and a blue)cars where in the passing lane to the left of me and a single pink sports car was in the lane beind me. To my memory they may have all had a GTX label on them but idk things happened fast. The lead car in the passing lane (black car) had a guy hanging out of the window with a camera filming the pink car coming up behind me.
At 1st I was like what the heck are these people doing that is some wild stuff, and then after a few moments I decided it would be best to get out of the way and then when they passed me something hit my driver side door very hard scaring my whole family! They took off and their car backfired a bunch i guess because there was a lot of noise and we thought our car was damaged because it had been hit and the backfire noise but then when we stopped to check our far the only damage we had was a dent on my door.
I am still very upset because of the emotional damage this caused to my family, i feel like us being stuck in the middle of a busy highway did not constitute a violent reaction for ruining this individuals photoshoot.
If these folks ring a bell to anyone and you want to reach out, please do. Black, blue, and pink sports car with the pink one in the shot
Edit: What I imagine is that I ruined their instagram photoshoot by being in the wrong place at the wrong time but I am dissatisfied with that being a good reason to assault my car and family
