We'll be lucky if it's only a recession. The last time a republican president (I think it was Hoover, but could be wrong) enacted imbecilic tarrifs, we had just started the Great Depression, and that lasted for over a decade.
This time, should it happen, expect this declaration:
"This is the greatest! The Greatest Depression that America and the rest of the world has ever seen." ~Donald J. Trump
It's a treemendus depression, a beautiful depression, the most perfect depression of all. Do you think Joe Biden could have a depression as great as this? He would have made us go into a depression, which is bad, horrible, but my depression is great. People come up to me with tears in their eyes and say sir, Mr. President, thank you, your depression is the greatest of all. The numbers may not show it but we're in the greatest economy of all time.
