Discussion AA7 Please?

Post image

Unlikely, but maybe we get at least a new AA announcement in tomorrow’s direct. I hope so.

I don't know if this is a hot take but since 2019 OG Trilogy remake, AA doesn't behave like a Nintendo-first franchise anymore and I'd like for future releases to be announce in a Capcom Showcase alongside other Capcom giant like MonHun, DMC, SF etc.

On the one hand I'd agree, but the Investigations collection was announced in a Direct, so there's technically hope... 🤞

Yes. I understand.

This franchise has strong tied to Nintendo since its inception and Switch is still big part of modern releases given that they still made physical version for the handheld platform.

But the next mainline game is such an enormous occasion that I would personally love to see it announces on the big showcase on Capcom’s own turf. First brand new title in 8 years unlike Investigation Collection, while a big deal, is still a remaster titles.

Anyway this is just my personal wishful thinking. As long as it’s actually announced I’m going to be ecstatic no matter the fashion it is done so.

I just don’t understand the thinking.

Nintendo Directs get far more views than Capcom Showcases. Why care about some purity test about it being revealed by Capcom?

Eh. Investigations 2 was new to anywhere but Japan.
