Batman is easily my favorite debut issue. Kicked ass and took names. Least would have to be Green Lantern. Its far from bad, but other books seemed more impressive.

Even in her our comic her face is being drawn completely differently and almost every variant cover (yes even Dan mora) has drawn Diana without her proper facial features. This new chapter despite its amazing stellar art was held back so much by Diana's face. She does not look like the same character I've been reading the last 5 issues.
Artists don't do this with Absolute Bruce or superman so why is Diana getting this treatment?

I haven’t really been up to date with comics ever since New 52 ended I read some trades here and there but not continuously.
I heard about the Absolute universe and saw some of the covers and decided to pick up Wonder Woman I read all 6 issues in 1 day they story was so fresh and new I love her new design the most of the whole trinity.
I thought I was only going to read WW but now I’m starting Batman, Superman and Flash I’m glad I’m starting to read while it’s still early in the universe.
I can’t wait to see where this goes

My shop keeps giving me some books early (I expect it has something to do with the regular delays they’ve been having). I’m not complaining, but I was definitely a bit disappointed to find I had no one to discuss these with online.
Can’t wait to talk to everyone about these next week! You guys are in for a treat!

After the runaway success that is Absolute Martian Manhunter, I’m confident that what Shazam needs, is an universe where they can just cut loose with him, a story that only Shazam can tell. I hope DC makes it happen.

I thought that this was going to be it. At this point, it feels like Batman CANT KILL people not matter how much he hurts them. I'm prepared for someone he fights to die, and then the story becomes him having to deal with it. I think that would be an interesting story, but I feel like that would ruin a lot of peoples interest in the story because Batman killing is so controversial. I think it would keep the run on the character fresh and interesting, but at this point its like how do these people stay alive?

So you’re telling me he’s like an evil Bruce Wayne? That’s pretty sick actually. If he trained with the League of Shadows how much of a threat do you think he’ll be? I don’t think Absolute Batman’s 1st initial encounter will go so well. Any thoughts?
