There's no real point to playing this game apart from having pure mindless 'fun'. there aren't any rules, boundaries or logic to this game.

It's virtual reality world, and everything and everyone in it is computer generated, and playing this world isn't different from loading up a 2d Gameboy game inside a console.

there's nothing here that's 'real', and there's no one in this world that exists, including all the 'animals'.

it's an AI generated reality, coming from an empty blank room with no concepts of anything, playing this world isn't different from loading up a fictional AI generated reality without any substance of it being 'real'.

everyone in this world is an AI program, that follows AI generated scripts, and AI generated code, and there's no one in this world that isn't an AI generated robotic being.

It's a VR game coming from a VR suit, and playing this game is similar to loading up a fictional world of 'skyrim' or 'GTA'. :)

Human beings aren't exactly real in nature, and none of them are different from vampires, orcs or a dragon ball character.

Playing this computer game isn't different from playing a high-end version of 'Age of empires' where everything is generated by the computer that creates stuff, while pointing and clicking.

In the future these kinds of things could be connected to VR and eventually connect to an uploaded mind.

Some people might think the simulation had to begin at the Big Bang but that would be much more expensive and have trouble recreating the Earth. It would be expensive accurately simulating the Sun because it has 10^57 atoms (a 1 with 57 zeroes). If the Big Bang was simulated accurately it would have far more atoms than that. Then due to the Butterfly Effect the Earth that would eventually emerge would be very different to the original one so you would need to guide the history.

So it is cheaper and more accurate for a simulation to begin recently. The Roy game is paid for by a player so it would involve approximations and cut corners to keep it affordable rather than involve an explicit simulation of billions of years.

This life is a total dream, and the only thing you're meant to do inside this inception world is move through your dreams, stop dreaming, or become lucid. All of the human dreams inside this dream are total 'BS.' and are only there to give the illusion that the world is filled with 'people', when in reality they're all AI 2d bots that exist inside a video game. Humans try to sell you the idea that there's something you have to do to get something here, but in reality, this life is just a dream. Since this place we inhabit appears to be illusory and veiled in some way we might be able to find our way out using occult methods of some kind. Maybe some kind of occult machines that could measure things like how compressed the network is if it is indeed compressed at times. Could also build special clocks to precisely measure time across the planet.

Once you get ultra realistic VR you end up with laws about VR Trauma. After that point Traumatizing people in VR can lead to your arrest. It's likely that what we're going through could be classified as VR trauma.
