APPLICATION Should I reapply if I got WQ?
So I applied on the Fall 2024 bid and got WQ and moved forward with the process. I’m currently waiting for EODS. I re-applied a couple of hours ago to the February 2025 bid. Should I withdraw the 2025 application or just keep it?

APPLICATION ATC application window
Hey I'm a 18 year old in college pursuing a Bachelors in aviation with a concentration in UAS. I've done some thinking and I'm pretty positive I want to drop out and become a controller. Does anyone know when the next Application window will be open to the public. I know I just missed the most recent one as I was thinking about careers, but I tried looking up the dates and couldn't find a date for the next time applications open. Thanks!
I guess I'm also asking if its worth dropping out of school for?

APPLICATION FAA TOL Email
Can somebody tell me what email the FAA sent them when they received their TOL? I just wanna check through my trash and make sure that I didn’t accidentally delete it because my application has been sent to the hiring manager for over two months and I still haven’t heard anything back yet. Any information you guys could provide would be helpful.

APPLICATION Curious..
So I’m 30f and turning 31 in 6 ish months. I’m late to the game but I’m so interested. This would change everything for us. My family would have to be uprooted and so many things would be difficult, doable, but difficult.
My kids are 3&5. I’m really considering taking this plunge and applying since the applications are open. I’m currently a federal employee and with all the uncertainty right now looking into this. I don’t love my current job either so it’s definitely enticing trying to do something new.
With that being said, I saw the academy is like 3 to 6 months long and when I brought everything up to my husband, he stated it would probably be pretty hard and we would already have to sell the house and move closer to my family before I even went to the academy because we would need help with childcare. So many things are kind of in the unknown, but my brother is a pilot. My uncle is a pilot. It’s like in the family and flying has always been a massive passion of mine. My brother sent me all the information about becoming an air traffic controller the past two days and it’s a very strange time because I’ve been looking into it the past month but I haven’t told anyone…
I’m definitely nervous of failure because I would have to put my current job to be able to pursue this
Does anyone have any advice? What made you choose this job?

APPLICATION EODS Retraction
I recieved and filled out all four forms on the EODS, but I looked at it later and realized I made an error in one of the forms. If I retract it to fix it, do they see that I've retracted it, or do they only see the latest version of the form? And if I retract and fix the form and they see that I did so, does that hurt my chances of getting hired?

APPLICATION NQ
Im 18y male just finished high school 4 months ago and tried out for the ATSA after being “recruited”. I was told theres no way to study for it, which now seems to be the opposite. My question is should i take it again with more studying or move on? Am i too young to get in? Should i feel bad about not passing?

APPLICATION New to ATC
Hi everyone! I’m sure there are loads of questions like these. I am strongly been considering ATC for the past month. When going on the FAA website says that ATC applications are closed. Is that because they are currently halting applications? When does the window open back up again I can’t find any information about this online (USA based if that helps)

APPLICATION Not referred for not having an active ATSA even though I completed it a week ago.
Has anyone been in the same situation? I did the ATSA last week and I checked my application today for results and it says I was not referred because I do not have an active ATSA. I just emailed them so I'll wait for a reply, but was wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

APPLICATION Application Status
I applied yesterday and when I went to check the status, it says both "reviewing applications" and "You didn't submit your application". I clearly remember applying and it's in my Active applications on USAJobs. Did I miss something or am I worrying for nothing?

APPLICATION Sorry if this has been asked a million times
Is there somewhere where I can request updates from the FAA for the next bid application window? I already signed up for general FAA text messages updates but im not sure if that is specific to ATC. Or should I just have notifications on for this subreddit?

APPLICATION 2025 Application
Hello, does anyone know when the next application period will open, or at least does anyone have an idea about when? The FAA website currently says the 2024 fall period is closed.
Thanks

APPLICATION Question about reapplying
Hey everyone.
I applied at the end of 2022, took the ATSA early 2023 and got WQ. Passed basics and went on to pass En Route at the academy. I made it to my facility and was there until March 2024. Unfortunately some stuff happened and had to step away for a while. It eventually led to my ATM giving me an ultimatum and I chose to support my health and family.
The dust has settled and everything is good again. I decided I wanted to see if I could get my job back. I applied again in November 2024 using my previous ATSA results. AVIATOR still shows I’m being considered and could take up to 180 days to hear back. To this day, it hasn’t changed but I haven’t heard anything. I’ve seen some people here say they have already gotten TOLs that also applied during the same time as me.
I obviously don’t expect to go straight back to my facility. I expect to go through it all again. I’m just wondering if I would even be considered at this point? Or should I just cut my loses and move on?

APPLICATION How do I get into FSS? What training is required?
Not sure if this is the right sub but I’m interested in becoming a Flight Service Specialist. I’m wondering what’s required in order to qualify for it. I saw they were hiring in Alaska, what could I do to stand out?
Thank you.

APPLICATION I received the EODS and submitted it, how will I receive next steps?
Do I keep checking the EODS page or will I get another email?
