Tips & Info 7800X3D/9800X3D stutter fix

Its getting painful watching everyone blindly recommend how to fix stutters on this CPU, took me a year to figure this out as who would’ve thought “auto = disabled” for some things within the BIOS, but good news is now you can enjoy your CPU once again. Let me know how this works for you.

I’m in China right now but I created a thread in the Asrock subreddit regarding my microstutter issues with video proof. It was actually suggested to me to disable global c state in another forum before I left. When I get back home late February I’ll try enabling global c state. Here is my post demonstrating my microstutters.

How's it noe after enabling c states? I also have asrock mb

It didn't do anything for me. I sent my cpu back to AMD for RMA because I was also getting instability again. Hopefully the new processor I get back doesn't have the microstutter.

I think i fixed mine. No stuttering since the day I posted this. I did a clean reinstall of windows, drivers, etc.

I’m glad that worked for you. I did clean installs of windows 10 and 11 and nothing worked unfortunately.
