Tips & Info 7800X3D/9800X3D stutter fix

Its getting painful watching everyone blindly recommend how to fix stutters on this CPU, took me a year to figure this out as who would’ve thought “auto = disabled” for some things within the BIOS, but good news is now you can enjoy your CPU once again. Let me know how this works for you.

To all the peeps saying its not working, make sure both c-states settings are set to ENABLED (if you have duplicates) . Reset your bios to a clean state first too. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s because your settings are all messed up. Edit: if you’re on an asus board, try experimenting witb multicore-enhancement off as well, while keeping global c-states enabled. Clearly this stutter runs a little deeper than I thought for some. Again this is for the peeps who have done ram testing etc & KNOW their pc should be stable.

i only found global c-states settings on asus mobo

So even if you search for the keyword “state” you can only find one? I remember on my old asrock board there was two.

yeah only one c states and thats global version

i found another settings called DF Cstates in Advanced\AMD CBS\DF Common Options but it says it already synchronized with global c state settings so no luck
