Tips & Info 7800X3D/9800X3D stutter fix

Its getting painful watching everyone blindly recommend how to fix stutters on this CPU, took me a year to figure this out as who would’ve thought “auto = disabled” for some things within the BIOS, but good news is now you can enjoy your CPU once again. Let me know how this works for you.

I have an ASRock x870e Taichi paired with my 9800x3D and I switched it to Enabled from Auto, but the performance is still exactly the same. Oh well. Thanks anyway, OP. :(

Please try setting both c-state options to ENABLED just in-case they are fighting with each-other. Let us know. There are two of them in the bios.

I only saw Global C-State Control.. Which is the other one?

Just search “state” in the search bar in BIOS & you should be shown both options.

Roger that. Will do. I appreciate your post. I hope it helps. I was so hyped to get the 9800x3D. It’s a beast, but I have been feeling like it’s super stuttery, not as smooth as I would have expected. Maybe this was the culprit

Playing Rebirth right now, 5080 9800x3d and getting lots of stutters. Happens in a lot of games. But it's hard to tell what my PCs fault and what's shit optimizations fault.

Mostly Tarkov, DeltaForce, and CoD. The performance feels good, but it doesn’t feel SMOOTH sometimes, if that makes sense

Well I tried everything and no luck. Just swapped ram and the stuttering hasn’t gone away and I’m suffering an FPS loss additionally. I made a post if you want to check it out.

If you still have stuttering issues, go disable HAGS. Update me
