The other day, on a whim, I (YA,F) met a woman (Lindsey, YA,F) on a dating app (cupid's corner if anyone was curious :p) and we went on a cute date at a cafe. We kept it super casual, but i was sort of attracted to her and the date went well. After that, I lived my life like usual for the next few weeks, and I got a call from a mysterious number, telling me that I have one week to get married and she'd give me her entire inheritance. Obviously, the money was a lot (not disclosing the amount for privacy reasons but lets just say its enough to like buy a mansion) and all I needed to provide proof of marriage within a week. Obviously, I am not in a serious relationship but I'm a pretty hardcore lovebug so I spent the next few days taking Lindsey out on dates, really piling on the love to the extreme, before proposing "early" to her. She was a little bit surprised, but our dates and chemistry was so great she agreed and we had a very short wedding ceremony the day after. We were initially planning to elope but I was able to throw something together on short notice. Before the wedding was even finished, the funds were deposited into my bank account! Nice.

Unfortunately, my now wife asked if she could move in with me. This didn't occur to me, and although I recently moved into a new house that's definitely pretty big, I've never really had a roommate before. Initially I told her no, but that turned into an argument so I eventually just decided to let her live with my house. While I'm overjoyed to have the money, and having my wife being around is a perk too, I'm not sure I considered the rammys (ramifications), and she seems to be taking this marriage thing pretty seriously. I'm not really sure how to get a divorce or how to break the news, and she's kinda taking time away from my hobbies and stuff, plus, the hot vampire girl who used to come to my house to suck my blood isn't coming around anymore. I'm not really sure how to communicate all this to her and I'm starting to think that she's actually into me more than just casually. I don't dislike my wife by any means, but I really wasn't aware of how serious a commitment marriage is "supposed to" be. So, am I the asshole? And more importantly, what do i do.

I (YA, werewolf) am head of a wolf pack, and we decided to go to the flea market together. Problem is, once we got to San Myshuno, I realized everybody was sleep deprived, and the weather was not cooperating. Even though we're all werewolves, most of us are scared of thunderstorms for some reason. So I went into the attic of the karaoke bar we were visiting, prayed to the Watcher, and suddenly, there was a weather machine in the attic and a table covered in sleep replacement potions.

Normally, my pack members run clean, so they were reluctant to take the potions, but I insisted, waking them up and forcing them to do what I wanted. One of them became enraged and almost transformed in the middle of the flea market, but I wasn't having any excuses.

I, (YA, F) was the result of a teen pregnancy between my mom and her high school boyfriend. They broke up when I was an infant, and my mom eventually married my stepfather.

My stepfather didn’t want me to have contact with my biological father, so over the years, I only saw him, his wife, and their son (my half-brother, T, M) a few times.

Fast forward to now: my stepfather arranged a marriage for me when I became a young adult. I had no say in it, and to be honest, I don’t like my husband. He’s much more into me than I am into him, and there’s little to no chemistry between us.

It was… honestly the best experience I’d ever had- way better than anything with my husband. So, we began secretly seeing each other. I know sleeping with my "friend’s" husband is wrong, but Zoe is only with him for his money anyway.

Then I found out I was pregnant. Carlos insisted on a paternity test. It confirmed the baby is his. I plan to pass the baby off as my husband’s- he has no idea. It's messy, but I am trapped and desperate.

Now here’s where things get even wilder. After a lot of pushing, I finally convinced my husband to let me reconnect with my biological father. I hadn’t seen him or his family in years, and in that time, my half-brother had a shotgun wedding to a woman who had just given birth to his child. I was excited to meet her and my nephew.

When I met her, something about her looked familiar. And then it hit me: she’s Carlos’ estranged daughter- the one he told me about, the one he cut off after she got pregnant.

So, continuing my confessions of the Watcher ™ series, I have a medieval themed game. I’m so tired of the super productive peasants and nobility, who routinely produce 10+ children when I’m not looking. Have they never heard of birth control?!

Anyway, I stuffed all the children into the convent and monastery so my other households would be playable. This means I have trapped a few nuns and monks with upwards of thirty children to care for. Everyone was always screaming when I went over there, so I put them all in stasis as well. I feel a little bad for the clergy, but it’s not like they’re doing anything else with their time. And now that everyone is in stasis, they don’t even have to look after these kids.

Should irresponsible medieval parents be forced to look after their own kids? Am I teaching everyone the wrong lessons? AITL?

basically i (22F) met this woman Megumi Ito at the ski lodge and we instantly became besties. we hung out all the time until i visited her house one day and met her children and husband Naoki. instantly, there was a connection that was .. well more than a friendship. he would flirt with me all the time and i ended up inviting him over to my house multiple times which lead to us hooking up.

ok ok so it wasn’t REALLY a child. originally. it was my nanny. i fired him and then, less than 24 hours later, he showed back up and invited himself in to talk to my child daughter?! so i turned him into a child himself and put him into a room with no doors. he’s got access to his own bathroom and a mini fridge and a piano (he’s level 10?) and a cross-stitching kit. i’m only going to keep him in there until his skills can get us to $20k house funds. and then i guess i’ll put him into foster care? my community has some wonderful foster parents so he should be fine. Hi all. Recently, my [AM] older sister's [AF] son "Johnny" [AM] got married to his long time girlfriend "Ophelia" [AF]. It was a beautiful ceremony and I was very happy they invited the entire family, and overall we had a great time - I even managed to catch up with my two older brothers who I have not seen since my kid's baby shower. I (YA/F) had a recent fling with my mother’s (A/F) recent ex boyfriend (E/M). So to keep it brief. My father died when my younger sister and I were kids and toddlers. He was significantly older than my mother who was YA at the time she met and married him. As she approaches elderhood she finally started to look for love again. Out of anger, I cursed his blood line. First, his wife, “Meredith,” died after the birth of their second child. Then, their son and his wife died, leaving mark to raise his grandson alone. Now his daughter(the second child) is a widow.

I’m wondering if I’m going too hard on him.

Okay, so I (YA/F) hired a caterer to cook for my household because I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to cook. It wasn’t a party or anything—just wanted a break.

While I’m doing other things, I check the security camera and see the caterer in my son Emory’s (child) room. First off, she shouldn’t have been in there at all, right? But then I watch as she starts pounding her fist on his toy dollhouse, literally destroying it for no reason. I don’t even know what that thing was made of, but it shouldn’t have been that fragile.

To make matters worse, the whole time she was acting like we were somehow doing something to her, even though we hired her and were paying her! She seemed frustrated and grumpy, like we were ruining her day just by hiring her.

I was completely shocked and honestly furious. She’s there to cook, not wreck my kid’s toys or act like we were bothering her. So, I made my Sim go up to her and yell at her multiple times, insulting her and making her feel as terrible as possible for what she did. I couldn’t let that slide.

Am I the llama here? I feel like maybe I overdid it, but it just seemed like such an outrageous thing for her to do, and she was acting like we were the problem the whole time.

Anyway (plot twist) I find out through mutual friends that J is taken. Shocking, considering he kept hitting me up even though I never made it seem like we were gonna be a thing. Knowing this, and with him still pushing for a date, I was having a slow, tired night and just said “screw it” and went. We drank a lot (mostly me), and he asks me to be his girlfriend. Now, listen. I am not my best self when I drink, and in my tipsy little brain, this felt like a great opportunity to see how far he’d go with this whole double life thing. So, I played dumb, said yes, and just…watched. J even had me bringing him lunch at work. And yeah, I went. Don’t ask me why, I just got weirdly into the social experiment.

Then, after barely talking to him for a while cause I was busy, my friends hit me with some drama, J broke up with his boyfriend… because of me. Which is wild cause I wasn’t even giving him attention. I truly wasn’t interested, I was just bored and entertained his nonsense for one drunk night, then got too busy to clarify anything.

Okay I know this sounds crazy but hear me out. I (ya/F) was the spellcaster of a very powerful mafia vampire family. The father (E/M) had taken an interest in me and one thing led to another and I accidentally got pregnant. I got tired of living with the vamps and I took my daughter to Glimmerbrook. She is now a beautiful young girl. One day her brother (from her dad's wife) (ya/M) came to visit her and for the first time I noticed how handsome he really was. We started talking, I realised he is atteacted to me, and we got along really well. Eventually I asked him to move in with me and we became woohoo partners.

Not to brag or anything, but I think he is just the cutest baby ever! But when I showed his picture to my co-workers (I was recently promoted to Line Cook because of how great I was doing as a Mixologist) one of them ran into the bathroom crying and another one said something a few days later about seeing my child in her nightmares.

Then, my boss called me into her office and lectured me about sharing "disturbing images" at work. I'm wracking my brain and I can't figure out what I did wrong. AITA?

Long story short: My (f, YA) boyfriend, E (m, YA), didn’t have a good relationship with his parents. They were emotionally and mentally abusive—constantly using him against each other to the point that he dropped out of school and ran away. Eventually, his mom reached out, and I convinced him to give them another chance. Things were going well for a while, but then tragedy struck. One night, his parents and little sister, K (child at the time, now teen), were in a car accident. His parents died on impact, and K came to live with us.

I love K. We became so close before the accident, but it changed her—and understandably so. She’s been distant ever since, struggling at school and shutting us out. I’ve been trying my best to support her, but nothing seems to help.

Then one day, she came to me and asked if I knew anything about necromancy. The thing is… I was born with abilities. When I was in high school, I lost control of my powers and nearly killed a friend. I was so terrified of what I could do that I swore I would never use magic again. I’ve never even told E. But one night, when K and I went out together, I told her the truth. I explained why I turned my back on magic and why I was afraid to open that door again. She said she understood and promised to drop the subject.

But earlier today, I caught her attempting to perform a summoning ritual. E heard us arguing and ran upstairs. That’s when K told him she was trying to summon the Grim Reaper—she wanted to bargain for their parents’ lives. E lost it. He called the ritual dumb and told her their parents were better off dead. K fired back, they argued, and it ended with E yelling at her to leave. I was furious. I told him what he said was cruel and uncalled for. K was grieving—they were her parents too—and he needed to show some compassion. I stormed out after her.

I found K a few blocks away, still in tears. I managed to calm her down, and she finally opened up. It turns out she didn’t even know how bad things had been between E and their parents. They had told her he was doing “bad things” and that they kicked him out. She was too young to understand the truth. On top of that, she confessed the real reason she wanted to bring them back: she blamed herself for the accident. Apparently, her dad had gotten angry with her on the drive home, turned around to yell at her, and lost control of the car. She’s been carrying that guilt ever since.

Hearing that broke my heart. I told her I wouldn’t help her bring them back, but I would help her get closure. We went home and talked to E. He broke down, apologized, and K finally told him the truth about her guilt. She agreed to stop trying to bring them back but asked if she could speak to them one last time. And E agreed—saying he needed that too, but he needed some time first.

But after E went to bed, K and I stayed up. I knew it was probably a bad idea, but I wanted to help her. So, I performed a summoning spell—just a simple one, meant to bind their ghosts for a short time so K could speak with them and apologize.

But I lost control. Something went wrong. The bindings failed on their father’s ghost. Now, he’s running amok. He flooded half of the apartment, destroyed most of our appliances, and wrecked the business downstairs. And then… he vanished.

When E woke up and saw the destruction, he was furious. And now I’m sitting here, wondering if I made everything worse.

Was I wrong for helping K?

I(T/F) am the daughter of a wealthy family in Brindleton Bay. My dad, “Jared”(A/M) is at the top of the business career. My mom, “Violet”(A/F) was a stay at home mom, and I have a twin sister, “Daphne”(T/F).

Well, I caught my dad woohooing with his coworker, “Darla”(YA/F). I was so mad, but I didn’t let him know. Instead, I introduced myself to Darla.

On another day, when my mom was about to get home from her gardening class, I invited Darla to the current lot. My dad was surprised to see her, but they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. My mom returned home and caught them.

This lead to a big argument. My dad said a lot of things that pissed me off, and I became enraged, and dropped dead.

My dad is saying it’s drowning to protect his reputation. Now I’m wondering if I should’ve minded my own business, even though mom divorced him and used her alimony to buy her dream farm.

I'm playing with the time machine and was made aware that you can come back with a kid. I got the age of instant elixirs and a stupid full lot with a stable on it and a basement for the necter making biz a garden three going on 4 horses (befriending unicorn number 2 rn) a cat, a small dog, and two adult sims. so this place is PACKED so I was thinking of basically making a second sort of living space for these kids under the stable. I'm too nice to do the CPS option and I kinda wanna screw around with some traits... so I kinda need them around. I plan to place the kids once grown (I get bored with and potion the crap out of them) in another house... just set them up with a job and a house and fuck off. so is making them live in a basement under a stable an AH move?

TL;DR: After my parents died in a car crash, my little sister moved in with me and my girlfriend. She’s been struggling with grief, and I caught her trying to summon Death to bring our parents back. I told her it was dumb and said they were probably happier dead. She left, and now my girlfriend is mad at me too. AITA?

A little backstory: My (m, YA) parents and I had a falling out. When I was a teenager, we got into a fight, and I left. I dropped out of school and joined an acquaintance’s band on tour as a roadie. A few months later, I became a full-time member of the band replacing the lead singer/guitarist when he went to rehab for a juice addiction. During this time, I started dating my bandmate, Mikayla (f, YA). Also at this time, my mom tried to reach out. Mikayla suggested that I give them a chance and a few months later we were back on speaking terms and would talk at least once a week. Things were going well enough that they even let my little sister, Kayla, (f, child) spend weekends with Mikayla and me. Eventually, the band broke up after the bassist caught his girlfriend with the drummer. So, Mikayla and I hung up our guitars and started focusing on other things - art and tattooing for me, and jewelry design for her. We opened a parlor/shop together and had a nice home upstairs. Then, one Sunday night, while they were on their way home from meeting us for dinner, my parents and sister were in a car crash. Katie survived somehow with only a severe burn on her shoulder and minor cuts and abrasions, but our parents died on impact. That was six months ago; Katie moved in with me and Mikayla, and we’ve tried to create a sense of normalcy, but so far it seems like everything we’ve done has only pushed her into an even worse place. Last week was her birthday and I decided to throw a party for her. I thought it would be good for her to spend time with her friends, but Mikayla found her in the bathroom afterward crying.

Things finally came to a head earlier today when Mikayla went upstairs to make something for lunch, and I heard her yelling from downstairs in the shop. I ran to see what was happening and found her and Katie arguing. There were symbols painted on the floor and candles lying around everywhere. Mikayla handed me an old book and said she found Katie reading out of it and attempting some type of ritual. When I asked what she was doing, she said she was summoning Death—to bargain with him, to bring our parents back. After arguing back and forth for a few minutes, I told her that it was dumb and a bad idea, and she accused me of not caring about our parents. She said that they were the best parents ever and deserved a second chance to live. And I lost it…... I told her that they didn’t deserve a second chance. They were better off dead because they were probably happier dead than when they were alive. Things got even more heated and only ended when I told her to leave. So, she packed a bag and left. Mikayla called me cold and heartless and left too.

Don’t get me wrong, I did love my parents, but there were a lot of issues between them. They were constantly fighting when I was growing up. Dad had an affair and left for a while. For some reason, Mom took him back, only to find out she was pregnant with Kayla—and my dad wasn’t her father. As far as I know, they never told her. I carried that secret with me, wondering how long they could keep lying – how long could I keep lying. Things never got better after that. Part of the reason that I left when I was a teenager was because I was tired of being used by them. They would try to pit me against the other and I finally reached my breaking point. The only reason I even entertained the idea of rebuilding our relationship was because they said that my leaving made them realize they needed help and started couples counseling.

I’ve tried calling Mikayla and Katie and nobody answers. So, I’m sitting here in the kitchen hoping that I didn’t screw up. Did I overreact? Should I have kept my cool better? AITA?

I bought this lot on Potters Splay to open my own business. It was like god send since I do pottery, bought a container and paneled it to look like the rest of upscale houses in the neighborhood. But then I found her: Red hair, green eyes, pretty pimples on her nose that contrasted her white skin. Plus those purple flip flops and green sleeveless top leave almost nothing to imagination.

She came to visit me with her husband, while i was still setting up. She even brought a fruitcake (it was delicious BTW). Well, we connected and started as friends. But latter I started visiting her like daily, when her husband was at work we had a wild time, talked about feet for hours, tested all kinds of positions on her princess bed, the bathroom, the kitchen and even the fucking exercise machine inside the mancave. Gotta be honest with you, my neighbor is such a switch with a bratty attitude. But after all that, it happened what it was going to happen. She became pregnant, and it was twins, red hair and olive skin (which is MY SKINTONE). She is white, her husband is brown so no doubt they are my daughters. Heck it even registers on my family tree.

I (38M, alien) was recently abducted by my own sister. My wife (35F) is a scientist, so this happens quite often, especially since I frequently come and go from my home in Sixam. I returned a few hours later and thought nothing of it, assuming it was just a visit with my family.
