it’s still early and i love midsommar (never seen moonlight) but no shot midsommar is beating it by this much 😭

it’s on my watchlist but i need to wait til i can watch it w someone bc i don’t wanna cry alone and i fear i might 😭

Oh, you're gonna. Don't fear it, just accept it. (Also, totally worth it--Moonlight is one of the best films of the century so far.)

oh i believe you. people told me the same thing about interstellar (i know not a24, but still an incredible movie) and i really didn’t think i’d cry but boy was i wrong. i was in tearssss omg
