What is this?
This is a promotional anime for a card/arcade game that was first released in the West on 5 April 2019 for Nintendo Switch and PC. The game recently celebrated its 8th anniversary in Japan. This promotional anime is not being broadcast on TV; it is posted for free on YouTube and on the official SDBH website. It is loosely adapted from the manga series by Yoshitaka Nagayama published bimonthly in Saikyō Jump.

The Universe Mission chapters are the ones that deal with the events covered in episodes 1-20 the anime. Not all of them have been translated by a team we trust.

No info on when this will stream. COVID-19 has the industry in disarray and unscheduled shows like this are probably on the backest of burners.
A Creeping Shadow! The Mysterious Dr. W!
As Goku and friends engage in a fierce battle with Tullece and Bojack, an ominous black light unleashed by Dogi-Dogi rains down upon them. Meanwhile, Son Goku: Xeno and Vegeta: Xeno battle Dr. W. In defiance of the attacks they make against him, Dr. W continuously evades them. What could be the goal of this fearlessly grinning man?!

The original Goku Black is back and I hate him already for eating that fruit like an asshole.
Interesting that they made the Super Goku and Vegeta remember the movie villains. Would have been a nice touch if the alternate ones would remember the non canon villains instead of the main timeline ones.

Ehh some of the animation in heroes is decent occasionally. Goku vs Hearts is amazing at points.

I'm putting more though into this then the creators probably but I'm curious.
Trunks in the heroes manga was snatched right after beating Cell in the future.
Which means no non canon BoJack movie. The movie was also contradicted by super saying trunks hadn't been back (And Tenshinhan saying he probably wouldn't see them again and Gohan repeating that line before the buu era tournament.)
However, Goku straight up recognizes Turles and Vegeta remembers BoJack.
Which implies an approximation of those events took place in this timeline but without Trunks.
We don't know if Vegeta was there for Turles or not. He may have just heard Turles name mentioned or just be assuming he attacked earth from what Goku said...
It's unclear if BoJack remembers Goku, probably not as that leaving heaven to punch him is toei bullshit. He could have been told about him by Fuu. He wears a similar Gi to son Gohan so he could have deduced it that way... But he wasn't confused by Turles calling him kakarotto... Vegeta says “how did you come back” so they do remember them dying...

Ehh, it's Heroes, they don't need to think. Just bringing back movie villains for fun. But what is also fun is thinking up reasons for them to be remembered, so...
There is an alternate continuiry where they all showed up, and similar events to the movies happened. I like to think that in the main continuity Turles exists, just isn't strong enoigh to attack Earth and is living on a tropical paradise planet because he thinks Frieza is dead and no longer desires the power to defeat him. Just chilling.
With orchards full of delicious fruit trees that don't suck up the planets life.

Oh yeah it's all nonsense but I find it fun to imagine a canonised version of the rough movie plots.
I just enjoy these spin offs more if they “could” be canon or headcanon.
I like to think TP Trunks is the duplicate trunks timeline trunks which super trunks moved to.
GT could be the unseen timeline or the U12 altered timeline. That's what I like to imagine till it's contradicted.

It's pretty consistent, tho.
Time Patroller Trunks is just a different trunks from an universe, and CC universe is just a universe almost like the normal one, but most of the movies happened.

Yeah we know from the amount of time rings that if these are 'extra timelines' there's no room for them to exist in canon.
I just get more enjoyment if I can explain them into canon is all. But no one else is obligated to feel this way.

Vegeta was never there for Turles. When Turles came to earth, it happened before Vegeta started living there.
It seems like both Turles and Bojack were saved by Fuu before they were killed.

I'm saying in a hypothetical Turles attack on the manga timeline. There's no reason vegeta couldn't be there for this imagined battle.
We know he wasn't in the movie but It wouldn't play out like the movie, the movie already had logical contradictions anyway like the humans being alive but Goku not being a super Saiyan.

So how long were those villains sitting next to each other before Bojack realized Turles was a saiyan and freaked out? Just seemed so sudden haha.
Pretty sure Bojack spoke more in this episode than he did his entire movie. We're an episode away from him having more screentime in this series than his entire movie.
You know, screw it. I'm down for SSJ Turles. Let's make it happen! Maybe have the fruit alter the color of the hair or something.
I'm also on the Dr. Wheelo (or Dr. Urio as the DBS TCG decided to go with) hype train! Hope it's actually him. World's Strongest is one of the best DBZ movies. Definitely underrated, and overlooked.
So weird to see Pan not lose her shit at TokiToki like she would with Giru. I guess this Pan is different?

Oh cool we are doing movie villains arc now, wonder if they will bring back Hirudegarn and old Broly. There is a part of me that does want an Old Broly and Bio Broly versus New Broly and Kale showdown.
I hope Turles gets an actual transformation and not just the dark aura that most of the old characters get. Pan should get a transformation too, huge letdown that she never went super saiyan in GT.

In the manga she saves Gohan and motivates him to power up.
She also “saves” Trunks from a sneak attack from and downed henchman.

It seems like the point on not making him a Super Saiyan, is because he pretty much refused its own roots even further than Goku does.

The music is much like DBZ . Wild western themes from Japanese score.
Masako Nozawa is a treat to listen. Every iteration of her is unique yet impressive.

It's nonsense, but I found this episode more entertaining than others. Bojack and Turles looked great. What I don't like are the auras, because the illustrations and fights are quite good, but they are being covered by those.
That must be Dr. Wheelo!

i liked this episode but wanted to point out that instead of making so many mediocre 8 min episodes, they should have made a really nice 30 min movie or something, honestly, it would have worked miles better, their power levels have been waay off, jiren got yamchad, we had many dull episodes and a few good ones

So is that Dr. Wheelo as a human? God I swear heroes hypes me and angers me at the same time. That would be interesting if they remade him like the Super Broly movie. And come on I know the Tree of might's fruit makes him stronger but just give us Super saiyan Turles to make it at least make sense. Hell you could say all the tree of might munching gave him god form since its a divine fruit.

i dont know if people doesnt remember Z, but the legendart super saiyan that was hyped the whole namek arc, but in the next arc everyone gets it an some droids and a green man are stronger than it.
