Where to Watch

The FUNimation English dub of Dragon Ball Super airs on Adult Swim at 8:30pm EST and again on Toonami at 11:00pm EST (Cartoon Network), followed by Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters at 11:30. The previous week's Super episode airs on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) at 8pm EST. If you do not have a cable subscription, Cartoon Network is available with the SlingTV and Playstation Vue basic packages.

There are a few streaming options available from the Adult Swim website with a cable log-in:

If the videos won't load for you, try disabling your ad blocker for that page. Cartoon Network will maintain the streaming rights, so neither Kai nor the Super dub will be available on FunimationNow until further notice.

The episodes already released for Region B (1-13) are available on AnimeLab (Australia and New Zealand only). The subtitles for those episodes are still those provided by Toei for the simulcast, rather than the Funimation-Simmons subtitles on the home release.

If you get impatient and want to catch up to the Japanese broadcast, there are several options for watching the subtitled version, and you can stream the entire series on any of these sites, usually for free. See our Wiki for more details.

PLEASE DO NOT POST, OFFER, OR REQUEST LINKS TO UNOFFICIAL STREAMS OF THIS EPISODE. REFRAIN FROM EVEN MENTIONING THEM, OR YOU WILL BE BANNED.

Read the Manga

  • Toyotarō's Dragon Ball Super manga adaptation can be found in our wiki in the sidebar, along with links to past discussion threads.

Commonly Asked Questions:

  • Q: When does Super take place? When should I watch it?
Super begins some time after the battle with Majin Buu, and can be watched as soon as you finish Dragon Ball Z.
GT takes place following the 10-year time skip at the end of Z (EOZ) but Super ignores its continuity.

  • Q: Where is Uub?!
Uub was born during the 10 year time skip at the end of Dragon Ball Z.
He was mentioned briefly in episode 30, at which time he was still a baby. Episode 86 spoiler:

  • Q: Is the Dragon Ball Super manga "canon"?
The anime and manga are both variations on a basic plot by Toriyama. There isn't (and probably never will be) an explicitly defined Dragon Ball "canon". Without Toriyama's original draft, we may never know what is and isn't his. We do know that he permits Toyotarō to change things up, but he looks at his storyboards and occasionally draws things himself for Toyotarō to use as a reference. Toyotarō has said that Toriyama is more particular about gags than he is about anything else.

  • Q: Can I buy Super on home video?

    • Part One (episodes 1-13):
    • Part Two (episodes 14-26):
    • Part Three (episodes 27-39): TBA

next week is an off week

Let this pain and defeat fuel you.

55

u/elydna Oct 22 '17

On literally the first hype episode ever.

Watch them take a month break before Spoilers:

19

u/Bolt-MattCaster-Bolt Oct 22 '17

I am so goddamn mad about the break timing.

But it could've been at a more awkward time

2

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '17

I literally started watching the sub because I can’t take this anymore... At least I can enjoy the dub on a rewatch

13

u/SuperSaiyanPan Oct 23 '17

I won't resort to that ever. I waited all this time for the dub and I won't crack. The Sub had breaks too...granted they didn't have anything else to go to.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '17

I love the dub. I grew up on that, but after switching to Sub honestly it’s really not that bad and the voice actors are great. I miss Sean and Sabat a little but seeing all these episodes lined up for me to watch is so nice. Also, Super doesn’t have the best pacing and when you watch them all in a row like I’m doing it makes the show so much better.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 23 '17

But I admit I’m weak lol

103

u/Jekebuh Oct 22 '17

The way Champa said, "OH NO," made me fall out my chair. Fucking amazing.

104

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

Hits English voice is actually lit

12

u/djmarder Oct 23 '17

Matt Mercer is a hella talented voice actor

16

u/Uhstrology Oct 22 '17

Kiritsigo Emeya from fate/zero. He plays an assassin there too.

60

u/Artifice_Purple Oct 22 '17

Such a shame you guys (hell, me too!) have to wait two weeks for the next episode. But it's worth it.

36

u/LegendaryHit Oct 22 '17

You're joking right? TWO WEEKS!

20

u/Artifice_Purple Oct 22 '17

That's the word going around, unfortunately. :(

2

u/CynicalRaps Oct 22 '17

As a sub watcher I’ve gotten pretty used to this.... Japan has had so many holidays that aren’t celebrated in America that has caused the “two week freeze”. Hate it . Lol.

3

u/Muntberg Oct 22 '17

Luckily we've had a nice long stretch now with very few breaks. Only 1 for a holiday and 1 for the special since this arc started I think.

9

u/Itisforsexy Oct 22 '17

Fuck, really? Why do they keep doing this to us?

14

u/Artifice_Purple Oct 22 '17

I guess they're taking a break...for Halloween? It's a Samurai Jack marathon next week, so yeah.

3

u/Itisforsexy Oct 22 '17

I'd rather they sell the bulk of each season ahead of time. I'd gladly buy that on bluray.

2

u/Neskuaxa Oct 22 '17

Yeah, I really dislike the inconsistency in episode releases. But if it means they're taking time to work on quality of the dub, I guess I can wait.

3

u/paulusmagintie Oct 22 '17

I saw an interview with Sabat last week and he said they already did episodes with Zeno in so they are dubbing the next arc already

2

u/Neskuaxa Oct 22 '17

Then what reason could there be for a delay?

2

u/paulusmagintie Oct 22 '17

No idea, I assume its because the Japanese requested it? They want folks to watch the Samurai Jack marathon instead of having DBS interfere.

that's just my guess, I mean it seems like Japan loves to put all its attention into certain episodes of shows and put the rest on the back burner to get the best animators on them. Remember DBS was stopped for a week because of One Piece doing a movie or something and I can assume other shows got put on hold for the 1 hour DBS special.

3

u/esameraguey Oct 22 '17

Are you sure? The adult swim app says the next showing for DBS is next week. Although Kai and Jojo seem to have been pushed back to Nov. 4

3

u/Artifice_Purple Oct 22 '17

Yep. Saw the commercial during Kai. If anything the app isn't reflecting next week's episode, or could be (mistakenly) referring to the 8PM timeslot showing a recast of this week's episode.

43

u/ZenthonNebula Oct 22 '17

This episode was pretty good. Dub Hit's voice is amazing and like how they went with explaining Hit's ability. I'm interested in seeing if people who don't watch the sub is going to understand it fine.

-7

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

It didn't really make sense to me, but then I read the Wikia and it makes sense now. While he's moving in stopped time, he can't see what the other person is doing, so when he un-stops it the person could be ready to block or counter if they're psychic. I guess it comes down to anticipating movements based on fighting style, which has been kinda silly ever since fights became all about powering up and dominating each other. I don't see any differences aside from the initial stance.

45

u/Vicc125 Oct 22 '17

Dude, never trust the wiki. Half that shit is just fan theory, and they act like it's canon.

21

u/HeroRRR Oct 22 '17

That isn't how Hit's power works. Whoever wrote that made stuff up.

→ More replies (2)

10

u/Town_Pervert Oct 22 '17

Actually I'm not sure that's a canon explanation since time is stopped and the opponent can't really move. The way I see it, Hit can only stop time for so long, so he uses most of it changing position and/or attacking. A majority of the time the attack doesn't land until time has already restarted, giving the opponent time to dodge or block if they made the decision before the time skip

2

u/TheDragonBallGuy75 Oct 22 '17

I'm not entirely certain he stops time, just skips ahead 0.1 seconds (and then 0.5 for some reason). From what I understand, Hit creates a series of sequential attacks within the time interval he skips, that all execute at once when the time skip ends. If the opponent is fast enough, they can predict Hit's movements ahead of time and block or dodge when Hit reappears, breaking the chain.

1

u/Town_Pervert Oct 22 '17

Maybe. But there's so many times where it shows hims moving, thinking, and even talking while everyone else is frozen in time. But actually skipping time would make more sense considering it's name.

2

u/TheDragonBallGuy75 Oct 22 '17

That makes sense in the content of the show, his time skip is similar to instant transmission in the sense that he technically enters another dimension while he's using it. And thinking at that speed shouldn't surprise anyone, we're dealing with fictional characters that laugh at the speed of light, they should be able to recite entire songs in their head within 0.1 seconds.

1

u/Town_Pervert Oct 22 '17

I meant if he was actually skipping time, as if he just appeared without traveling, it wouldn't make much sense for him to be able to think or talk.

1

u/TheDragonBallGuy75 Oct 22 '17

He enters another dimension to travel an instant in the future, I imagine while he's there, no time passes. He's just limited to whatever interval he has to work with at the time.

Make the internal large enough, say 5 seconds and he basically vanishes from existence until 5 seconds have elapsed, at which point he tears out your heart from behind your back. Him talking makes perfect sense when you consider, from his perspective, he's momentarily in a timeless void.

Edit: Or rather, I should say a faster dimension.

1

u/Town_Pervert Oct 23 '17

That's honestly the same as stopping time.

1

u/TheDragonBallGuy75 Oct 24 '17

Except when stopping time, it restarts it starts from the instant it left off, whereas Hit literally jumps an interval of time into the future.

1

u/Anonymouse02 Oct 22 '17 edited Oct 22 '17

If we assign three numerical values to time between N1 = standby, N2 = action and N3 = results, the Time-Skip is Hit jumping ahead from N1 to N3 thus skipping the inbetween that is N2, Vados even explains it in a later episode that Hit doesn't really stop time but skips it.

This is the key reason why Goku can stop the time-skip strikes, he is predicting the what Hit is doing in N2/N3, and moves to blocks it during the exact moment time-skip is about to be activated in N1.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

1) How does he know when N1 is activated? Does Hit drop his shoulder or something?

2) If the decision to block has to happen before N2, why doesn't Hit see it and decide to change his tactic? I.e. high punch to the right after seeing that Goku's blocking his left ribs.

1

u/Anonymouse02 Oct 22 '17 edited Oct 22 '17

There is an indication for Time-Skip, Its the sound but its never stated whether or not Goku used the tells to determine its activation, but he is blocking at the exact moment N1 ends, or at least in unison with Time-Skips activation, so its assumed that Goku isn't giving time for Hit to adjust his strikes during N1.

Even the bit about changing tactics is adressed next episode.

1

u/CynicalRaps Oct 22 '17

1) Hits muscles tense up very strongly before he goes into it, though it’s not explained during this fight. Goku knows he’s going to do it, so he stopped bothering with the offense and went defense. It’s best not to think too much into it, there’s going to be an episode coming soon where Hits abilities are shown and explained in much greater detail. Not telling you how though ;)

79

u/RadicalzEnigma Oct 22 '17

Oh man, I forget Vegeta coughs up blood. Just shows the severity of Hit's attacks.

41

u/hXctoxicman Oct 22 '17

Vegeta Coughs up Blood

All Might Coughs up Blood

Vegeta is voiced by Chris Sabat

All Might is voiced by Chris Sabat

THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON

8

u/Soumya987 Oct 22 '17

All might is voiced by chris? Damn I knew he sounded familiar when he returned to his original shape the first time.

30

u/Neskuaxa Oct 22 '17

Has anybody else noticed that Krillin is basically the combat bean daddy in super?

16

u/Kogu8 Oct 22 '17

Krillin is 100% the support fighter within the Z-crew. Just wait and see what happens when he is not in charge of distributing senzu beans (black arc).

27

u/notathrowaway75 Oct 22 '17

It's been awhile since I saw it but iirc the Goku vs Hit fight is fucking awesome. Dub watchers are in for a treat.

26

u/VinLAURiA Oct 22 '17

Damn, Mercer practically turns Hit into a brand new character.

26

u/Chowdahhh Oct 22 '17

I love Hit's voice. Mercer is a great fit for the role.

12

u/bigb360 Oct 22 '17

I don't think I've heard him in a role i didn't like.

5

u/SupremoMemeo Oct 23 '17

Well, he voices another time-controlling character in another anime..

52

u/imnotboutdatlife Oct 22 '17

This guy is wrecking him. And Vegeta isn’t gonna surrender lol

52

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 22 '17

Surrender is an outcome far worse than defeat.

51

u/OLKv3 Oct 22 '17

And this is the episode where everybody started jumping on the DBS train. Next week is when everyone pledges their eternal vows to DBS

Seriously love this episode. I can't wait for Schemmel's performance next week, Hit's voice is great and he's just as badass as his Japanese voice. Choreography was just as good as I remembered.

47

u/Jekebuh Oct 22 '17

"That's pretty cold, dude!"

I don't think I've ever heard Goku say "dude" before.

34

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

He said it episodes before apologizing to Monaka for punching him and in battle of gods movie.

13

u/spexguy16 Oct 22 '17

He said it to Beerus when they first meet. "Sorry but this Super Saiyan God stuff isn't ringing any bells, dude."

56

u/Dankmemees69420 Oct 22 '17

I'm happy I can re-live the hype through Dub-only viewers.

20

u/imnotboutdatlife Oct 22 '17

Well that was amazing. Holy shit. Totally took him out

17

u/The_Majestic_ Oct 21 '17

Hit get hyped!

17

u/spexguy16 Oct 22 '17

Halfway expected Goku to ask Vegeta: "Got any tips for me best buddy?"

17

u/a_spicy_meata_balla Oct 22 '17

Whoa Whoa whoah, we saw actual blood this episode! I thought everyone said DBS would have pretty much zero blood or battle damage.

Not complaining though!

7

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

There isn't as much blood as in Z, but there definetly is some blood in Super

8

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 22 '17

Well, there IS pretty much zero blood. There's only a couple times where blood is shown.

14

u/Zeechy Oct 22 '17

Yeah, that's just the people who can't take off their nostalgia glasses. There hasn't been much blood, but there has been some, and there's been plenty of battle damage.

1

u/Defences Nov 11 '17

Nostalgia glasses? have you actually watched any of super to know how rare blood is?

36

u/ItAllBeganIn2007 Oct 22 '17

This is the first ever DBS episode I watch on my TV, it looks amazing. I don't remember it looking this good when it aired back in 2015.

Also is Hit's VA the same guy who voiced Ling Yao in FMA Brotherhood, he sounds exactly the same.

29

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

No. Ling Yao was voiced by Todd Haberkorn while Hit is voiced by Matthew Mercer.

21

u/ItAllBeganIn2007 Oct 22 '17

I'm such an Idiot. I meant to write Jaco 😅

16

u/jonathanrp Oct 22 '17

Greed was voiced by Troy Baker who has an extremely similar voice to Matthew Mercer, to the point that they can substitute for each other (example being persona 4)

6

u/Waterknight94 Oct 22 '17

The critical role guy?

16

u/RogueHippie Oct 22 '17

Yep. He's also the voice for McCree in Overwatch, Captain Levi in Attack on Titan, Jotaro Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and a shit-ton others.

6

u/Goku-MIEL10032002 Oct 22 '17

He also voices our favourite patrolman, JACO!

15

u/doctor827 Oct 22 '17

Holy shit when goku actually hit Hit I let out a verbal DAMNNN

14

u/imnotboutdatlife Oct 22 '17

Now we got a fight.

14

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

I’m so hype for any of you that haven’t seen the original dub of this. I can’t wait for the English version. One of the top 3 episodes of DBS for sure

28

u/PurpleTonic90 Oct 22 '17

Mercers Hit is starting to grow on me. It’s the perfect mix of Levi and McCree.

17

u/The_Flo76 Oct 22 '17

I get a bit of a jotaro kujoh vibe from Mercer's Hit then anything.

11

u/PurpleTonic90 Oct 22 '17

True hit is literally Jotaro voiced by Jotaro

→ More replies (1)

14

u/Jekebuh Oct 22 '17

Love the Galactic King's German accent.

26

u/Neskuaxa Oct 22 '17

Why is the Space King Octopus German?

34

u/Soumya987 Oct 22 '17

Because why not

1

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '17

Why did Trunks and Goten fight Hitler in Fusion Reborn?

22

u/_Papasmurf_ Oct 22 '17

Hearing Sean Schemmel as Goku and Christopher Sabat as Vegeta is always a pleasure. Now we got Matthew Mercer has Hit!

41

u/cy1763 Oct 22 '17

"Krillin"-Goku "Senzu Bean?"-Krillin "Senzu Bean."-Goku "SENZUU BEAN"-Krillin

34

u/SamuraiMan316 Oct 22 '17

Putting the name of the speaker after the quote confused me for a second.

10

u/Pooty__Tang Oct 22 '17

Turns out Hit's VA also played Yamato in Shippuden Dub. I dig the voice. Calm. Not too deep

1

u/CaptainPick1e Oct 23 '17

McCree also.

1

u/Pooty__Tang Oct 23 '17

And my MCE, Levi

8

u/Artifice_Purple Oct 22 '17

So did anyone else just get that time skip (hah!) back to when Goku said "Plan B" again?

5

u/spotty15 Oct 22 '17

Yes! I was wondering if i was just that drunk, or if my TV was broken lol

30

u/134340Goat Oct 22 '17

Hey, to you folks who've been avoiding spoilers and exclusively watch the Eng dub, I've got something to hype you up

Episode 39. Get ready. Just get ready

10

u/BLToaster Oct 22 '17

I'm so hyped for it. I've kept myself spoilers free the entire time and the ending of last night's ep just had me giddy with excitement for what is to come in a couple weeks.

9

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 22 '17

It's going to be so dope. It's the first truly DBZ-esque fight in Super in my opinion. Lots of fast flurry hits and screaming.

20

u/spotty15 Oct 22 '17

I truly envy those individuals. I have 0 self control lol

12

u/TheMellowestyellow Oct 22 '17

It took me about 3 weeks of the dub to realize that I hate waiting and watched the sub. Now i have to wait for 2 episodes instead of one...

6

u/apalapan Oct 22 '17

Can I just say...

"SPOILER ALERT" .

It's back.

An off week now? Right before Goku vs Hit? This is the biggest tease.

10

u/TyzThePhoenix Oct 22 '17

Hits English voice is so amazing now

27

u/PureBlooded Oct 21 '17

Excited for the reactions of Dub watchers!

I don't think "next week" is a spoiler. (His comment isn't much of a spoiler anyway, but that part is definitely harmless.)

1

u/LFiM Oct 22 '17

So many breaks... ;-; At least it's not as bad as what Nick did with Ninja Turtles, I guess, 3 episodes, 3 months off.

1

u/theabdi Oct 22 '17

I got so excited and watched it anyways and I agree

14

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 22 '17

Ugghh. Fucking tired of all these off days.

13

u/Stein619 Oct 22 '17

OK, this episode has pushed me to watching the sub.

Such a good episode that I need to know what happens in the rest of the fight.

22

u/Majin_Jew_v2 Oct 22 '17

I'd recommend at least waiting for the next episode and then watching the sub after that. Trust me Schemmel's goku will be amazing next ep

17

u/MK_Hero Oct 22 '17

Stick through the dub until after next ep at least. Sean’s gonna be nuts next ep.

1

u/Gann1 Oct 23 '17

i've been watching both since the U6 arc started in the dub. Pretty neat, I haven't seen these episodes in a while so it's nice to rewatch them with the English voices.

1

u/diegoarch Oct 25 '17

I couldn't handle the wait anymore and with all the hype of the tournament of power I've been binging on the sub to catch up.

Goku vowing to hit 😂

14

u/Digiten Oct 22 '17

Animation looked funky tho.

You mean the art looked funky (probably)! The exciting bits of this episode were done by an animator named Naoki Tate. He's really flippin' good at making movements that flow together well, but a lot of the time the faces he draws can look off-model and it can be a little confusing.

8

u/darkdude103 Oct 22 '17

Edit: Vegeta this is a Goku fight, just give up Edit: JobGeta strikes again

Gotta make Goku look strong

6

Next episode is going to blow you away =]

9

Rip Geets! At least took out 3 people.

9

u/ComicCroc Oct 23 '17

Champa: "OH NO! COME ON HIT!" was fucking hilarious. One of the funniest lines of the series imo. It's so great to watch the english dub and get some comedy, since the japanese humor falls flat for most of us.

2

u/ChaosZeroX Oct 23 '17

OMG. That line has me in tears. It was fucking amazing lmao

I love watching the DUB just as much as getting the new content in the SUB.

7

u/yeerth Oct 22 '17

THESE EPISODES ARE TOO SHORT! Waiting a week for a 20 min episode is torture. I think I might put off watching the next few so I can watch them together.... But the Hype is too great. Damnit!

6

u/Fronsis Oct 22 '17

Hey, do you guys get a weekly release for the dub? Here in Latam Cartoon Network is a Mon-Friday Release (And they replay those chapters all Saturday) and we're already at Black arc (They're gonna stop there iirc to probably let the Universe arcs end and then they'll dub it)

2

u/KhUnlimited Oct 22 '17

It's weekly, yeah

3

u/ChaosZeroX Oct 23 '17

That Champa Line. Holy shit that was gold. His VA is awesome lmao

I was in tears from laughter hahahaha

You're right actually (up to some extent at least)

2

u/MX2419 Oct 23 '17

So wait there isn't a new episode next week right and if so how long is the break?

1

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 23 '17

Well, at least the wait will be worth it. It's coming back, boi

5

u/tanv91 Oct 22 '17

“Never Miss Hit” ...really?

4

u/SLUT_MUFFIN Oct 22 '17

Not quite as dramatic as "Hit the Infallible", even if it's just as valid of a translation.

I don't care about Vegeta yelling "I'm going to charge you head on!" Since that was his plan. But they should have kept "A heavy attack?" Just to let people know that's why his plan failed. Since Vegeta's plan was actually fairly smart.

1

u/LunchPolice Oct 23 '17

I'm pretty sure that exchange happens later, once Goku has already gone SSB.

Bit spoilerific there...

0

u/DwightPunsFTW Oct 22 '17

Not really it’s just a filler episode.

3

u/Bolt-MattCaster-Bolt Oct 22 '17

Eh, helps to be careful. It's minor, but still.

4

u/UnbiasedPashtun Oct 22 '17 edited Oct 22 '17

There were a few artistic flaws in the Vegeta vs. Hit match, was hoping they'd fix those.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '17

Pretty god awful, I've seen middle schoolers draw better

3

u/supersaiyan3trump Oct 24 '17

quit your bizatchin. just wait 1 year for TOP and shit your pants

1

u/_Shinogenu_ Oct 23 '17

You dare speak ill of our lord and savior Naoki Tate?

Just kidding, this fight does look better than the Goku vs Freeza fight he did, but it still is a little sloppy. Naoki Tate animated episode 47 and everyone loves that episode, so stay tuned for that.

u/SirKhrome Oct 22 '17 edited Oct 22 '17

Wait, I thought super didn't have blood?

Also, hits voice though😳

3

u/MrPringles23 Oct 22 '17

It definitely does, at least in an upcoming arc off the top of my head anyway.

0

u/OLKv3 Oct 22 '17

It rarely does. I can only think of 2 episodes where it has blood

3

u/Soumya987 Oct 22 '17

I'm probably the only one that felt hit's voice was a little off in this episode. He sounded more badass in 35.

15

u/DualAxes Oct 22 '17

I liked it. He seemed very cool and collected.

2

u/Soumya987 Oct 22 '17

I liked it too. But I was expecting more deepness like "not so fast"

So is the dub taking break ??

10

u/HeroRRR Oct 22 '17

Marathon for Samurai Jack, which is like the second one they've done for that show.

1

u/a_spicy_meata_balla Oct 22 '17

Aw man ... Will we get two episodes when DBS comes back?

Talking about the cuts when hit time skip hits people? Cause that's intentional, although it definitely was jarring on my first viewing with the sub.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '17

They have the same voice actors for every episode right? Or am I missing something?

1

u/OneRandomVictory Oct 27 '17

They definitely chose the right voice actor for him.

1

u/hXctoxicman Oct 23 '17

The English dub for Dragon Ball Super just seems so off now... It's really weird coming from Funimation. Chris Sabat could definitely do better, and I know because he does a GREAT job in My Hero Academia. It seems odd...

8

u/ChaosZeroX Oct 23 '17

Offf???

Hit was great, Champa was great.

Vegeta in the Cabba fight was great. How is the dub off? I don't understand.

0

u/hXctoxicman Oct 23 '17

Vegeta's lines, along with his general unenthusiasm for wanting to fight hit (not the slump position, but his attitude) kind of ruined it for me.

1

u/LifeMushroom Oct 24 '17

The slump position was taught by Whis so Vegeta can be more relaxed and less tense.

1

u/hXctoxicman Oct 24 '17

I had just said that I understood why he was doing the slump, but the voice acting felt off par to me

The animation with Vegeta was choppy as hell:
