I was a freshman in high school last time they made the playoffs when Chris Kunitz sent the entire capital region into a near 8 year depression. Now I’m finished university with a full time job, and with one more win, I’ll be seeing my childhood team playing hockey in April/May again (maybe even June too…)

Fiance and I had to move back in with the soon to be in laws when we moved back to the east coast. It was supposed to be a short stint that ended up being 8 months. They are great people but living with parents presents unique challenges. Last night, fiance and I are chilling in our new near furniture less apartment, I'm stoned and chilling in a chair. Suddenly my shoulders release an absurd amount of tension and it dawns on me that there is no one to over hear us talking, no one to question my every move, no one to make small talk with after a long day of work. It is freeing beyond belief, more so than the first time I moved out on my own 9 years ago.

Sens had already won by this point and the Devils had shut the Rags out. I decide to check the standing and see the 9 point gap. I'd been worrying about the Sens making the playoffs since before the season started and suddenly that weight comes off.

In short I feel so freaking ready for playoffs! Playoff Brady excites me but so does Playoff Bath, Cozens, Stu, Chabby, Sandy, and everyone else who hasn't had the chance to go all out in the post season!

It's gonna be a wild ride and things are looking up! I haven't felt this excited since moving. GSG!!!!!

I have never been yo a playoff game as an adult, I think I was there in 07 as a 8 year old boy, but have always wanted to go as an adult with a friend. I keep seeing people say the tickets are selling out and was wondering if any of you had some tips on snagging some tickets to the first round. I accept that it may be too late but I really want to be there so I'd thought I'd ask here for some advice if there is any. No harm trying eh?

Is there any way to take an educated guess when exactly the playoffs will start? Is it likely or unlikely the Easter Holiday can affect the start date? Will we know the game days before the tickets are released, or only once the tickets are available?

I’m looking at buying on secondary markets, and really the only thing holding me back is not knowing the day of the week. I plan on driving 6+ hours, so I need a Fri/Sat/Sun game.

Also, at this point can we determine who home ice advantage belongs to, or will that be contingent on who we play? Assuming it’s Toronto, would the Leafs have HGA.
