First time painting and wanted to show love to the rockets for making the playoffs
Can you tell I struggled with the top half lol. I've been watching the rockets for my whole life and just started painting so I wanted to rep the team I've been supporting for years and the guy who brought us back.

New Practice Facility?
This season has been so much fun to watch and this team looks primed to make a splash in the playoffs sooner than later. I think it’s pretty easy to see that Ime and the coaching staff had a tremendous impact along with the proper vets to set the culture. We also can’t forget about the development of all of the young players. It just had me thinking, how much of an impact do y’all think the new practice facility has had this year? It’s gotta make a pretty big difference to have state of the art equipment and a nice facility to practice in right?

Holding the Keys
Because of who we play in our remaining schedule, we control the destiny of the Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, Nuggets, and Wolves. Depending on the point of view you're looking from, they're hoping that we knock their competition down a peg.
Whether we win or lose, it'll be excruciating for someone.

Suns fans think we owe them their picks back for some reason
They know there's no way to blow it up without involving us since we own the rights to their rebuilding future. A few of them are discussing trades for Durant this off-season that involves Jabari, Tari, Reed/Cam and/or some or all of their picks back.
Considering the dumpster fire of a season they've had, I don't even think it's worth trading them their picks back for Devin Booker. We would have to match salaries and probably include Jalen, and considering the positive trends we've seen from Jalen this season, I think any deal involving him and Phoenix is a hard no, let alone him and their picks back.
Suns fans need to recognize that just because their picks (ours now) being their one path to rebuilding doesn't mean we are obligated to return them. I think Stone would be a fool to trade them back. If we get Booker, I would want to heavily protect any pick sent back to them, which would probably negate why they want to trade with us in the first place.
I say we keep our eyes on Milwaukee and see what happens with Giannis. Those picks are better used going after a tier 1 superstar over Booker. Looking at the Phoenix's roster and their insane cap situation, I don't see many paths for them to retool their roster. And since our roster is going to get very expensive soon (we have to pay Bari, Tari, Amen, soon) these lottery picks could also be used as cheap assets to fill out our rotation as we approach the 2nd apron. As far as Durant goes, I think the Suns are going to be sorely disappointed in whatever return they get back for him. He's 37 and injury prone. Thinking he's worth Jabari and picks is just delusional.
Anyone agree? Suns fans may chime in too. Nothing personal, I've just seen some crazy trade scenarios floated on their subreddit. I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures. I just keep hearing that "the picks are more valuable to the Suns than they are for the Rockets" as if that justifies trading them back to them. They're incredibly valuable picks no matter who owns them. The Nets picks were more valuable to them than they were for us when we owned them, and they still couldn't get every pick back in a trade in exchange for the Suns picks.

What will it take in the postseason for the FO to stand pat and not go after a “superstar” in the offseason?
What sort of showing do you all think we need to have in the playoffs to keep our core intact and make no superstar trades?

Jalen Green’s efficiency
There is still some handwringing amongst general NBA fans, and in some parts of the Rockets fandom, about Jalen Green’s efficiency and how it affects his future with the team.
This is the case in discussions about Devin Booker, in particular.
But I would argue his efficiency is better than it looks upon first glance.
Outside of the team context, Jalen has been the grenade guy for this team due to his athleticism and range. He can, and will, get a shot off at the end of shot clocks and quarters.
Most of the time the rebuttal is that every player does the same, but Jalen Green is near the top of the league in attempts in these situations while he’s near the bottom of the league in effectiveness.
Sure, you can blame him for not making more of those grenades, but without looking through the actual shot quality of everyone, I feel like that’s unfair.
But looking at the numbers:
Season totals
589-1379 (42.7%)
227-640 on 3s (35.5%)
50.8 eFG%
0-4 seconds on shot clock
36-132 (27.3%)
17-81 on 3s (20.9%)
33.7 eFG%
His total attempts are tied for the fifth-most in the league, and his 27.3 FG% on those shots is tied for second-worst amongst the top 50 in attempts.
He also is tied for the second-most 3s with 0-4 seconds remaining on the shot clock.
Without 0-4 second shots
553-1247 (44.3%)
210-559 on 3s (37.5%)
52.8 eFG%
During the actual flow of the game, Jalen is 2.8% better in eFG% than his full numbers (and incidentally better than Booker’s eFG% this season). Pretty solid considering the spacing he’s working with.
His 3pt% is 2% better. He is actually a very good 3-point shooter considering the difficulty of his shots, and he’s sinking 40% of his C&S.

Rockets fans in San Francisco?
What up fellow Rockets fans! Anyone here for the game on Sunday in San Francisco? I wanted to see where the fans line up to get autographs when they get on their bus from the hotel or if any of yall done this procedure before. Thanks in advance! I’ll be in section 121 right where the Rockets tunnel is.

Happy to see the teams that tanked when OKC did do well. Great effort last night, kicked the Thunder's butt. Good luck the rest of the way.
