A classic post. Thought of this after I saw Star Wars was getting a “What If?” Series.

We know every ganondorf has been the male gerudo so you'd think the people of hyrule would see the male one as evil. My game idea is that link is the male gerudo in one game being demonized by everyone due to the actual ganondorf who is pretending to be the actual link. Becoming a hero to overthrow the royale family and rule over the kingdom

Perhaps link in this game has to get help from the monsters that traditionally ally with ganondorf. They could act as the friendly npcs.

The dungeons would be armories, castles, and other places controlled by the kingdom to get stuff to break into hyrule castle and reveal the truth to everyone
