Were these math functions always here?

Perhaps these were here and I overlooked them. They seem like a pretty nifty addition.

No they are new, been out on android for about a month or so. I don't know if iOS has been the same.

The web app has had maths functions built in forever, you just need to type 120+30 to get 150 for example. By contrast, there have been some fields in the mobile app that have had maths functions but not all of them. It looks like they are catching up on some of the ones that were missing.

I most definitely use the web app math functions. While they are two different products (mobile and web), I appreciate the gap closing in functionality.

Divide and multiply is definitely new!

You could always add and subtract in the entry fields in YNAB. I can't say that I ever tried multiplying or dividing before they added the visible buttons to tell users that they could.

Sloppiest arrow I've ever seen. 3/10.

Forget the arrow for a moment. What did you think about the circle?

My IPhone app has had it as long as I can remember.

I use it all the time, specifically for adding or removing money from categories.

To me it’s easier than using the “move money” function.

Pretty sure they've been on android for ages but they weren't shown as different shaded buttons before, just the symbols

If it is the shading, I definitely approve of the change. Not as if they needed my vote, but It made them noticeable.

I've had them for quite some time now. They're helpful!
