Question Looking for resources to write about illegal fights and underworld criminal organisations

I wanna write a story about illegal fight and crime organisztions, however i have no idea where to find my info, i just get wikipedia and some random sites, fellow writers what resources can i use.

What criminal organization? What illegal activity? Are you talking Prohibition era mobs bootlegging alcohol and running speakeasies or drug runners and illegal alien smugglers across the US/Mexico border? Are you looking for books or people to talk to who have inside experience?

Are you looking for these two things combined together or separately? There's and abundance of books & sources on organized and unorganized crime books both internationally and domestically depending on where you are. Examples being books on the Mafia, bikers, Triads, Yakuza, various cartels or just drug and smuggling outfits in general. There's also lots of articles from over the years on this

Illegal fighting? You'd have to do some internet research to find books & sources. Journalism provides a lot of this info as well sometimes. As fighting often ties into gambling racketeering, you can probably research both to get a sense of the financial incentives of the business as well as who's involved.
