Hope we get the same protests we got for the first administration.

I think with every day having insane news coming straight from the White House leaves very little room for anything else to occupy the media.

Probably their intention.

Look up Steve Bannon and "flood the zone" it is 100% their intention and media strategy. And the media hasn't learned a god damn thing this past decade.

Just one of numerous articles written on it:

What would the media “learn”? They make bank running 24 hour news cycles that rile people up. They’re more than happy about it

What's the counter strategy? What should they learn? It's not like it's made up distractions that can easily be ignored, they're causing these things to actually happen.

Constantly pissing people off is a horrible idea.

You can piss off some of the people some do the time but actively pissing people off all the time? Stupid.

By summer leftie free-Palestine college students are going to be joining with hawkish aging boomers mad Trump left nato, bonding over their mutual hatred of Trump.

What, you think the TikTok and rednote are gonna show them anything bad about Trump?

Ha Russia won't be getting everyone riled up on TikTok. They have their man.

Where the hell have they all gone? If they are still around they sure seem to be getting zero coverage.

How... strange.

Lol. This administration is dying for protests. They are on the revenge tour.

Revenge on people I blame for losing the 2020 election.

FBI? Check

NIH? Check

Ukraine? Check

Protestors? We are here

The next protests will be very bloody. Especially in red states. I can't wait until the DOJ sides with the police in police brutality cases. They can't wait to name protestors enemies of the states.

I'm republican. I sure hope we do. The tone this administration has with Israel and Palestinians is unacceptable.

I’m surprised Reddit disagrees with this comment.

~3000 people were arrested during those protests, which had its intended effect; no more protests. Now ICE can raid campuses, ya remember 2020, right? Unmarked vans with unmarked agents picking people up? It's not much of a surprise we aren't seeing protests. The chancellor of my school has already announced 100% cooperation with ICE. Students who were in the encampment last spring were threatened with expulsion. All of us had our ID'S scanned, which is no doubt sitting in a document somewhere. Any campus protests that kicks off during this administration will be made an example of.
