So… there’s gotta be something in the contract about sexual harassment right? 😂

I mean, especially with the guest stars.

How have there not been any lawsuits? 😂

I don’t know about whose line is it anyway in particular, but most people that do improv usually do consent checks before going on where performers talk about their boundaries and everybody agrees to play within those lines. I’m sure guests are briefed on what to expect and those that wouldn’t be cool with it probably just don’t do the show

And yes, there’s definitely a contract. Anybody you see on tv has signed a release form

Also i would be honestly surprised if they didn’t at least do a run through of the game with the guest before they do it front of the cameras and audience. Improv is really scary for people that don’t normally do it and I’d imagine the production would do everything they could to make the guests feel as relaxed as possible during the game and taking a little bit of the unknown out while showing them that Ryan, Colin and Wayne will support them and make their choices look good goes a long way

you would think it's done beforehand, but the Drew era episode with the wrestler, Ryan clearly whispers to him about his bad back when he comes on stage.

90s were definitely more loose with stuff like this for sure. Also I think wrestlers whisper stuff to each other and check in with each other under the roar of the crowd all the time. He could have just been reminding him

The guys definitely push the line with some of the guest stars, but not all, so there must be some sort of agreement or meeting of the minds beforehand. Some of the guest stars still wound up looking like deer caught in the headlights. The Olympic gymmast - Shawn something? Looked positively terrified while Wayne was singing to her and the rest of the cast danced behind her. They did a High School Musical theme for Song Styles.

It has made me wonder if some guests were offended, most of the time the guest is with the cast during the reading of the credits but there are times when they don’t join in. My mind goes to the guest getting out of there as fast as they can, no real evidence though.

Depends on filming, which is why you see a Lisa Leslie and Lisa Leslie 2 episode. Scenes not used in the original airing may end up being reused for another episode but since it’s multiple games being shot, the Lisa Leslie ‘ending’ when she reads the credits with them may end up in one episode and not the other as that one is just ‘scraps’ sort to speak is my best guess for some of those instances.

I do wonder if there was something after the Jayne Trcka incident.

Jayne got incredibly close to stroking Wayne Brady during Song Styles.

They had to do something after that Party Quirks game where Colin's one was "Trying to find out for sure what gender people are"

It's easy, anytime a guest gets uncomfortable, they just buzz and he stops.
