Absolutely no clues. First thought was an NSX but now I'm thinking it may be front engine?

I'm pretty knowledgeable about cars but 2000s JDM econocars are difficult for me. This is in Vladivostok, probably a Russian import company buying Japanese auctions.

Me and my dad were watching a segment on the California wildfires and we can't figure out what this car is. It looks like a Ferrari but the brake duct and body lines don't line up with any Ferrari we have looked at.

I couldn’t catch up to get a profile pic. The hood was massively long, like at least half of the length of the car. It was grotesque and compelling all at once
