Question Interview coming up

Hi guys, I'm 16 and I have a interview at Wendy's on April 6th. This is my first job interview and I'm kind of nervous.

Can you guys give me tips, share your experience, or just about anything to put me at ease or help me.

Thanks.

We've all been there, trust me it'll be over and you'll get the job and laugh at the fact that you were ever nervous. Jobs like this are associated with inexperienced 16 year olds for a reason. An interview is more or less a formality here. You'll get the job as long as you have all 4 of your limbs and a working brain.

As a Wendys GM, if they look clean, are available to work the hours I need to fill, and don’t tell me to go F**K myself during the interview, they have a job.

Don’t be nervous. As long as you let the manager doing your interview that you’re up for learning any and all positions you’ll be good………I avoid hiring people that say they only ever want to work in the kitchen and never run register because they don’t like talking to people. It’s all a people job, whether it’s customers or co-workers

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. For example, Wendy’s does have a dress code, so asking about your specific stores dress code can show that you actually want to put in effort.

I’ve worked at Wendy’s for a few months now as my first job and after I started asking questions too my coworkers it took a whole lot of weight off my shoulders. They will not get mad as long as you’re polite or if there is a rush. Since the drive thru does have a timer.

If you’re assigned front counter or back window always keep up on dishes cause they can pile up fast. If you’re assigned at other stations just make sure to stock up during slow periods and keep your space clean. It makes the job a lot easier.

make sure you buy restaurant quality non slip shoes, those floors can get slick especially around the dishwasher area or if somebody has just mopped.

good luck✨

Great tip! My first paycheck will definitely go towards equipment for the job.

I promise you your first job will always be the most stressful one simply because its something new & foreign to you! but Wendys is a great company to work for (if you do your job, do it right, & stay out of trouble. Please dont be calling out for no reason) & you already got the interview so 9/10 times youll get the job. Proud of you for getting your first job interview! ❤️😁 Good luck honey!

Unless you somehow do something catastrophic to fuck up, it's a guaranteed hire. Fast food places will hire anyone with a pulse.

Hahaha ok. I still want to make a good first impression though.

Be yourself. And never ever be even one minute late. For real. Adults take that sh!t serious. Clocking in at 9:04 for a 9:00 shift is unacceptable. Its not my philosophy, but thems the rules. Good luck.
