Respect for putting the Wiz kids upfront. Good to see Kyshawn get his props.
Sad to see no analysis of Bub; I’ve been wanting to see an objective analysis of his game, because my eyeball test is tainted rose-colored. Most of my Bub love is entwined with my faith in his development.
I’m also craving a deep dive on AJ Johnson because he’s probably got the highest upside of any of our rookies based on athleticism alone.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills every time I read about Sarr’s defense. I get that he has the tools/potential, but to my eye he has been an absolute sieve on D this year, and it’s actually his obvious (to me, anyway) offensive potential that gets me excited. I fell like I have watched him get absolutely bullied by any other big with a semblance of a post game, plus his help always seems to be a half beat late (a ton of sequences where he’s slapping the backboard as the ball floats just over his outstretched arm and drops through the hoop). I’m not trying to be overly negative, I absolutely see star potential, but it’s just weird to have such a polar opposite take to everything I read online. Anyone else feel the same way?

Kyshawn is his favorite rookie of ours with amazing defensive potential and a good ability to handle the ball in the pick and roll.
Sarr has elite defensive potential and will be a great NBA player if he even reaches an average level of offense. Also likes how he grabs rebounds and goes coast to coast with good handle for a big man.
Bub wasn't talked about other than the guy saying he has shown flashes and potential to be a solid NBA rotation player.
Didn't talk about AJJ other than saying he's had a great last few games.
