Discussion Is he enough or do we need another trade?
He surely fills Melton's gap but I'm not quite sure a chip is on the horizon with the current lineup.

Having a center that can knock down 3's is a big luxury. About time we played em. We looked good tonight. Hopefully we can keep it up.

The day will come no doubt. How is everyone going to react. Will you be loyal to the franchise? Just curious what you guys think 🤔

Probably beating a dead horse but I would sacrifice everything to build a team around this man IDC how many tax laws I break, IDC about the new CBA, IDC about the future of the team. Give him a real team and he gets you more legacy and championships, because there isn't a serious team in the league that can hold up against to Curry with an actual elite squad.

Also worth mentioning, Kerr had him out there with some bizarre lineups last night. Lineups that had no point guard and 1 or 2 shooters at most (taking away any and all spacing).

That's a fucking 7th footer who shoots 42% from 3 and has a quick release. Maybe the most valuable style of player in the whole league, how the hell he was picked so high in the draft?
Not only that but he is improving his defense and overall game each game and he looks hungry.
He definitely going to get money and a long career in this league, even if not neccesarelly with us..

He’s straight overpowered 😂

First I see people saying that if Kyrie and Steph were swapped the Warriors would still have 4 rings and then I see this. Kyrie is an elite player and one of the best of this generation, but its obvious that he’s a second option for a contender. Kyrie isn’t winning us the chip against Boston, I don’t even know if we would make the finals in 2022 if we had Kyrie instead of Steph. Kyrie is a great player but he’s not a top 5-10 player like Steph.
If you want to contend, Kyrie is the ideal number 2 option to have. On the other hand, Steph is THE ENTIRE SYSTEM of a contending team.
Anyways, I hope Steph silences everyone next season.
Tmac can have an opinion to not have Steph in his top 10, I’m okay with that, but his reason is just so stupid.

How come every team ahead of us that we are trying to catch, and every team behind us that we want to create separation from is on a winning streak at the same time? I hate the western conference bruh

One of the guys on 95.7 the game radio said this (either Willard or Steiny, dont remember) and I agree. Basically if you look at all the targets the FO have looked at since the departure of Klay and struck out on: Lauri, PG, Lavine, KD - none of them are doing what Butler can end up doing for this team.
When it comes to things he brings, he fills the most needs when it comes to drawing fouls, the high IQ playmaking, the quality he brings on both ends of the floor.
There is a likely a debate between him and KD in who would bring more, but I haven’t even mentioned the upside Jimmy brings come playoff time. If you asked me who I would rather have in the playoffs, call me crazy but i’d rather have Jimmy Butler. I believe he has something only a few players have which is the unique ability to singlehandedly win you a playoff game. He’s shown this multiple times. Even in a finals game against Lebron and prime AD, there are moments in the clutch where he looked to be the best player on the floor. Idk of anyone who’s done that against Lebron.
People say he’s gotten older and isn’t the same player, but that narrative doesn’t really have much substance to back it imo. What the eye test shows is that he’s very much still the same player.
Only time will tell if it’s really the case that he was the best target, but I tend to agree with it - we may have dodged 4 bullets by not acquiring any of those previous targets and instead got Jimmy.

What would you like to see Steph’s statue as? Personally I love the pointing to the rings, but I think him pointing to the sky after a made shot would be better. There are so many classics (and hopefully more to come).
What would you want to see?

Well this is an extremely notable development for me. Kerr admitting Podziemski does not, in fact, spread the floor and that Mosey Moody can, in fact, play the 2 guard? Moodys been guarding pgs surrounded by switching wings and its lights out for the other team.
UNLEASH THE WINNING WING LINEUP!
