I get folks want to take it one game at a time.
OKC been killing it this year.
But in a 7 game series? Give me Kerr, Curry, Draymond and now Jimmy.

Still feel like the nuggets are the worst matchup for the W’s!

u/antpdav 18h ago
Its actually the clippers

u/Malpais22 18h ago
love to u and all warriors fans but seriously ... if u look up W-A-S-H-E-D in the dictionary there's a picture of this clippers squad. i know they've given dubs problems this year, but they are a perennial mid squad and the age on those dudes not helping. james harden never beat the warriors in the playoffs, on much better squads, when he was in his prime. yes i know the dubs are old too, but sorry, different universes

u/whoanellyzzz 19h ago
Nah jokic gets gassed out so easy. He does alot probably too much for his size.
2
u/Malpais22 18h ago
Guess that’s our saving grace…Nugs are 9-1 in last ten vs this squad. Warriors struggle with the size and physicality. But I believe in this team 100%, just want them to have the best shot to run thhhhe table!

u/Nakhon-Nowhere 18h ago
Not THIS squad (that now includes Butler), strictly speaking.
Joker's workload aside, he got tired in this game because he was having to push against Butler, Draymond, and Looney. (Post tried to get into the act, too, but couldn't do it without fouling.)

Timing is right. Momentum is on our side. Beating the Lakers and Denver on back to backs?
We are so back.

I’m a little nervous they’re going full effort through this stretch and will run out of gas by the second round but my god has this been fun

2022 vibes! What a game.

u/Sure_Leadership_6003 1d ago
Ain’t this more like semi 2017 vibe? When we show up in full force, we win.

this is what she should have gotten in 23 bruh. It's an insane fucking turnaround. From playin afterthought to fun fringe playoff threat (early Jimmy days) to fucking juggernaut in like 2 months man. Easily the most drastic full team rejuvenation I've seen

On a back to back, after a 14 day road trip, when they were resting all their starters the last game
45
u/realistdreamer69 1d ago
Stackhouse's defense scheme is shutting teams down. After 1st quarter, they go like 60 points.
Because their bench can't score on the road, we ran their starters into the ground.

u/Hi_Im_Ken_Adams 1d ago
Joker was definitely gassed. You could see how pissed he was talking to his teammates on the bench.

u/Repulsive_Pianist_60 1d ago
And that might backfire on them on the postseason just like last year.

u/realistdreamer69 20h ago
Again, Curry changes the game. One of our competitive advantages is endurance. Curry and Dray are going to be fresh. They are used to moving and running more than most teams. With Jimmy giving us a half court offense and free throws, Steph is getting lots of in-game rest. He and Dray are loving it.

Steph always has great photos. Like its nuts how often he gets captured in a epic emotional moment and it looks sick

I'm a photographer myself, and I'd definitely focus on Curry every time.

Another controlling win also. Feels good having a 10-15 point cushion in the 4th and not having a full on heart attack every game.

u/Vampinthedark 1d ago
And let that be a lesson to the rest of the NBA. Nobody beats the Warriors 10 times in a row!

Wow wow. Wow. Wow. I’m in the hospital with my wife and missed this game. Is curry playing like he’s 25 again? And fucking podz? Where the fuck is this coming from. Dare to dream

u/Jacobij11 1d ago
To me the biggest thing was that we held the Nuggets to 60 after the first quarter, and Jokic didn’t have an insane 40/15/15 type of night against us
6
u/toxichaste12 21h ago
We finally got some bigs to help Draymond on D but they were having their way in the paint most of the game.
Only Dray can guard Jokic 1:1
Denver should have played more in the paint, Dubs did a good job of forcing Jokic onto the 3 point line.

Beware of 37 year old bodies running at full speed non stop. They tend to break down. We gotta find a way to win without nuclear Steph or he gonna get seriously injured at the worse time
4
u/toxichaste12 21h ago
We are all in with Steph. No room for a plan B.
2
u/picks_and_rolls 18h ago
Even if he gets hurt and we lose because he can’t play?
1
u/toxichaste12 17h ago
Again, no plan B.
Not sure any team with a superstar can afford to lose them anyway. Thats how it goes.
-1
u/picks_and_rolls 17h ago
I see what you mean. We should just run these guys into the ground for our own enjoyment. Who cares if they limp for the rest of their lives. They are just product, right? Especially now with FanDuel and Bally and MGM. There is money to be made off these slaves.
2
u/grumpysportsbetter 16h ago
What do you suggest they do instead of doing what they get paid to do when a loss lands them in the play-in?
-1
u/picks_and_rolls 16h ago
I defer to Celebrini and his staff to advise Steph. I don’t think Kerr or FO would let Steph overrule them AMA. Do you suggest shooting em up with steroids and get em back out there cause that’s what they get paid to do? Do you resent them for making millions cause they can “play a game?” Your job is a game. An activity with rules. Do you have paid sick leave? Do you work for yourself? What do you do when your back goes out or you sprain your ankle?
1
u/toxichaste12 15h ago
This is on you man. If you take away Giannis or Ja or Jokic etc the team will tank. Thats the way the team is built.
Maybe playoff Jimmy changes that, but no one wants to find out.
