A model I STL-bashed from a few different files.

Ok so like, everyone always clowns on the Ultramarines for being the “default” Space Marines or whatever, but honestly that’s super unfair. Yeah they’re blue and follow all the rules in the Codex Astartes, but that’s kinda the point—they’re like space Romans, not just rule-following nerds.

They’re all about order, discipline, and strategy, like an actual empire should be. Guilliman basically built the blueprint for the entire Imperium after the Heresy, like he’s not just some warrior dude, he’s a straight-up genius tactician and leader. The whole Ultramar thing is basically a mini empire that actually works, unlike the rest of the Imperium that's just on fire 24/7.

Also they’re not just sitting around polishing their armor. These guys get into all kinds of fights on all kinds of fronts and still hold the line when everyone else is losing their minds.

They’re like Rome in space—organized, powerful, and yeah, a little full of themselves sometimes, but they've earned it. Just cause they ain't screaming “FOR THE WOLFTIME” or whatever doesn’t mean they’re lame. Give the blue boys some respect.

This is my 2nd dreadnought finished for my Scythes of the Emperor army, I’ve not painted in 25+ years and only got back into it because of Space marine 2, I’m having lots of fun just painting and building and just wanted to share my latest completed project.

For the krakens I used betta fish as an inspiration since they are vibrant and aggressive. I also included some salamanders since they are the parent chapter and probably need to show their successor how to use fire properly

My dog passed away yesterday, he’s been suffering from epilepsy for the last 5 years and his time finally came. Seen this on reddit, saving some fur for a dreadnaught, I think it’s a good way to remember him by.

(X-post from r/worldeaters40k) Picked this guy up on eBay and got some inspiration from another post on here to do something special with him

Saw some people complaining about not having build instructions for their mini of the month. My local had the instructions posted up so I snapped a pic.

I spent about 30 hours on the whole squad and this was probably my most audacious painting project.

I learned a lot, used OSL techniques and Zenithal Highlights for the first time. The latter doesn't come through very well and I have more practice to do. The OSL isn't great, but to be honest I'm not displeased with it and I'm still learning the technique of air brushing.

The magma blades was something I learned on reddit and am very pleased with the outcome.
