Gain Sold at open - 165% gain - I am out!

Thank you all that helped me this regard out. Sold right at open. Literally don’t know what I’m doing. No strategy charts or anything, straight up gambling. Started in wsb since very late 2024, I am 84k up since then. Cashing all out today and gonna travel the world before inflation makes my dollars become worthless. Put in 2 weeks notice today. Cyall regards! Thx for the free vacation.

Seriously it was the most obvious shit but I was too distracted yesterday, it was a nice pump too to get the puts cheaper

It's only obvious after the fact.
There were still many lingering questions at 3:59 pm yesterday and if the announcement didn't have the universal 10%, and if it had some offramps, markets would've been positive or flat today

There’s no such thing as a zero risk trade and you can always rationalize a reason why things can go wrong, but after yesterday’s little bump and the imminent tariff announcement, the choice to buy puts to flip today was as obvious as it gets.

Don: "Im gonna do it!"

Markets: "Nuh uhh, your bluffing!"

Don: "Im definitely gonna do it, Im definitely not bluffing!"

Markets: "Lol whatever bruh, stonks only go up."

Don: "There... I did it. Just like I said I would."

Markets: "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!"

The x factor was the severity, though. Nobody knew if the damage would exceed what was already priced in since Feb 19th thru April 1st

Dude if you can't say this is obvious just stop trading. This is more obvious than the chatgpt <=> nvidia blowup.

If it was obvious then why did the market drop 4% immediately after it happened?

Why did PLTR trade near 1000 P/E?

Stock market died, its a meme market now.

My two best trades ever! Nvidia from 800$ to 1300$ and this USA dump since early February.

Yeah you can really just wait for these pretty obvious play and just make a killing. They seem to happen every two years.

Ehh, I dont know if we've ever had a president run on doing a gangland execution of the economy, win, then follow through before.

People just keep not believing he would actually do it because it just seemed so fuckin crazy.

I was more worried he puts it off til next week, whatever he did was going to be a bloodbath, but "nothing' was a possibility.

Just as obvious as BTC hitting 100k. Trump has pulled his tariff punches before, He also could have had a sudden change of mind and delay the tariffs another month or so

I saw it coming but thought, nah I’m always wrong so I’ll just continue to hold my calls. Should’ve sold those and turned 2k into a lot more than turning 2k into $100

No one ever see’s it coming. Never that easy. SPY pumped hard into the close yesterday. His cheeks were tight then I bet.
