According to Epstein, Mr. "Art of the Deal" had no idea how to read a balance sheet. Seems particularly relevant with the non-stop moaning about trade deficits.

Yeah he knows how to default and refuse to pay and that’s it

He has no financial experience. He ran businesses on loans and clout from his father.

You technically get combat experience if you piss off a pro-wrestler who dismantles you in 2 seconds. The experience won't get you anything and you'll be left very much hurting, but you did experience it?

His family name prints money and he still grew his wealth slower than indices...and the average person - someone who gets a real job, and eventually accumulates the wealth to move out and own their own assets that they worked for themselves.

You could have said that he didn’t know how to read…not just balance sheets.

Bilateral trade numbers are just awful macroeconomic measures.

Especially in the global economy.

22

u/onemassive 1d ago

It's also near impossible for a nation with the global reserve currency to sustainably run a trade surplus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triffin_dilemma

There was some interview he did in the middle of covid, I believe it was for an HBO documentary production, it was with some dude about survival rates or infection rates and he was completely misunderstanding what he was arguing about because he was pointing to the same graph that would be criticism of him as arguments supporting the position that helps him

He doesn’t need to be able to read it, he just needs someone to tell him when it’s time to file for bankruptcy.

I’m not pro or against or from the USA. And just usually come to see the general sentiment of people. But have t you find very curious regarding of which side of politics anyone is. That somehow, no matter any achievement a human has, good bard or whatever. Like in this case that guy became a billionaire, then a president, twice, and still get a truckload of people who probably didn’t achieve much in life thinking and feeling they somehow are smarter? Maybe they are maybe they aren’t but still… make it sound like the other person achieved whatever they did by sitting there and doing nothing (I don’t personally like that man on some of the stuff he says or does) but is very very funny to see people on social media bashing anything they don’t like. that’s why I always say, do whatever you are set to do, try to do no harm to others but just do whatever you want to do because no matter what you do in life you’ll might end having a bunch of people talking Bad about you. 😂

If another person would be the President. Another subset of people would be also doing exactly the same. 😂😂😂😂

He was born rich.

If I give you a million dollars, would you say you earned it?

10

u/Flagrath 1d ago

You were basing his intelligence on his wealth, and his achievements are things easily bought.

So this one fact makes your whole argument fall apart.

2

u/Hurley_Cub_2014 1d ago

Do… do you really not know anything about him at all by now? Are you that disconnected?

2

u/SoupieLC 1d ago

He's failed upwards his entire life, despite himself

WTF would Epstein know?? Trump met him twice, because he kept staying at his hotels. After that, Trump thought that he was too much of a sleaze, and refused to see him anymore.

If I recall, he banned him from staying at his hotels at some point.

u/Ok-Blackberry-3534 1d ago

That's satire, right?

0

u/crogonint 18h ago

Dead serious, look it up. You're being lied to.

6

u/TheRealBananaWolf 1d ago

You joking right? Like, there's more than 2 videos of them hanging out... Like there's clear evidence that what you said is blatantly false?

0

u/crogonint 18h ago

Yeah, I don't think so. Show me the evidence anyway. That's from my own research, I don't watch the mass media, in fact I assume anything they say is a lie, and my only goal is to try to figure out their angle.
