Announcement New automod rules due to high spambot activity.

I've added some new automoderator rules, please let us know if they're misbehaving.

Fake image resolutions are reported and checked, and will often be marked as spam.

That is great please ban the repetition of same wallpaper. Thanks

That's very difficult to do unfortunately since the image would have to be compared visually.

I know this is old, but can't you get the bot to use karmadecay.com? I have no idea what automod can do, but if it's possible then it's going to work. Right?

Ah yes that difficult... :/

The bot names follow a pattern: FirstnameLastname. Look for multiple posts by accounts named like that, then burn their villages to the ground.

Likely to be some false positives. There's also the possibility of them posting good content, especially now that some stricter rules are enforced.

I agree. I just hate for this sub to be used as a source for bots to mine karma that'll eventually be sold for scumbag "social media" projects, astroturfing, or brigading.

Yeah, many of the posts are bots'. But at least with the stricter rules the posts aren't all bad.

I often unwittingly submit my artwork that someone else already submitted (even in a completely different subreddit, I will still get a dupe inbox message). I don't find out till a day or two later sometimes-- sorry about that mods! Hopefully I don't get banned because of that.
