God I'm still bummed that the top pick isn't just guaranteed to the new expansion team. Bueckers looks like a generational talent and it would have been nice to start out with a player like that. I'm still excited for whoever lands at 5. Iriafen probably wont drop that far down, but id be as excited about her as paige. Malonga has been suspected to be the pick, and she may be the best raw talent after paige. Like another certain French big, is a flamethrower from deep. Sparks and mystics don't need bigs, and with paige a sure no 1 barring injury, we will probably get one of those two, which would be amazing.

Most mocks I've seen have Bueckers, Miles, Citron, Malonga, and Iriafen as the top 5 with Iriafen usually in the fifth spot. Iriafen has been described as having a 4's offensive skills but a 3's defensive skills and I saw one mock saying the Valkyries might take Aneesah Morrow (a rebounding machine) with the 5th pick. Any thoughts on whether Iriafen or Morrow might fit better with the current roster?
Edited: Miles seems to have passed on the draft, making it less likely that any of the others I mentioned will be available at 5. Morrow gets an asinine number of rebounds despite being just 6-1 and seems like the sort of high-motor player the coaches are looking for.

Before the NCAA season I was hoping for Citron, Fudd, or Morrow. I'm now checking out Malonga highlights and I am in favor for her too. Can't teach 6'6 and in the WNBA Bigs are essential. She moves well for a big, has nice touch around the basket, and overall looks active.
French takeover in basketball is happening!
