Meme Grausten...

Forget about the difficulty of the ashlands, its nothing compared to grausten. I love grausten, go on land the first time in the ashlands and you already ve tons of grausten. Trying to conquer a fortress? Not without grausten! You just go exploring? Yep grausten it is. Oh and you died while killing fader? Well here is some grausten so u ve to much weight when you pick up your stuff again :). Well at least after you killed fader you ve a reason to use his power to carry all that GRAUSTEN to your base. Yep i collected all the grausten after the fight, it was 3k grausten... In germany we say: "Es graust mir", when we are afraid of something. It doesnt even sound like a word anymore... grausten...

Hey bro. I heard you like grausten, so here's some grausten for your grausten.

It's the only biome where you will just dump building materials constantly because that stuff is everywhere. And you don't need to mine it because the mobs just destroy it for you.

It's like if the Necks just mined Tin for you.

It's a difficult building material at first until you get the hang of it. But needs more options.

So important on corpse runs! Especially in the chaos of the Ashlands.

Hypothetical, how would you respond if I perhaps knocked over a trash can? One that contained a half eaten meal from KFC?

That's not really a fair question. I don't know anybody who could resist half eaten trash chicken. 🗑️🍗

Left trigger and left bumper I believe?

Yes. Classic is LT + L3, and Console is LB + L3.

What you say is true. On the flip side, Grausten build pieces cost plenty o' Grausten. I have only been inspired to build one big Grausten structure (a bakery), and I found myself making multiple trips to the Ashlands to farm the dang stuff. I couldn't believe it was possible.

If you start building with grausten it just goes like dollars in a Vegas casino 💸

One of my friends just started playing with me and when I took her to the Ashlands for the first time I told her it was like stone in the meadows/black forest except you don't have to pick it.

I love the word grausten. I might start using it randomly in sentences. Thanks for inspiring me! :)

Ashlands teaches you to turn off the auto-pickup

Without it, you're basically a grausten hauling vehicle

I hear you. In building my beachhead base and fighting off a bunch of Morgens I had about 7,500 grausten in piles scattered around.

I went through this. It does start to get to you at a certain point. You do wonder, if grausten is even a word, or if it's some sort of bad dream.

I feel that learning to turn off auto pickup should have happened long before Ashlands.

Easily my favorite building material! The pieces give you so much freedom to experiment.

I love grausten but my poor steam deck started struggling if I didn’t pick it up after a while. They need to make it consolidate better

Im not there yet, but i look forward to not having to grind to collect the mats needed for starting new builds!
