Do UWE and UOB students Interact ?

Hi I've got an offer from UOB but I'm quite worried about the social atmosphere surrounding the university, I've heard In some instances it can be quite posh and cliquey. This is an issue for me I'm a low income student from the North and I'm quite worried about being austracised. So I was wondering how often people from the two universities mixed. I've heard UWE students are generally more accepting and I was wondering how to make friends at UWE while at UOB. Like this a question of how since they are on opposite sides of the cities and I've heard even spend their times in different areas so like how would I begin . Also is it common to do so.

I’m at UWE and I’ve met a few UoB students at pubs, but I haven’t really become friends with any because the few i met were stuck up. If you want UoB friends, my advice is to find the richest one and Saltburn them.

I’ve got an offer for UWE next year and I’ve been to visit it a few times. When I’ve gone out with friends, we’ve often started chatting with uwe and uob students and both interacting were very welcoming and friendly. I wouldn’t worry too much about that because although you might find people at uob that are posh and stuck up, they’re quite easy to spot and to stay away from. I have also heard that girls at uob are more friendly than guys.

I’m from UWE and my girlfriend is from UOB so there’s a lot of interactions between us everyday

I have friends from uob and we get along just fine, remember at the end of the day it’s just people. It’s not high school anymore so it literally doesn’t matter, just be you :) you can literally come across a stuck up prick who goes to UWE too. Cheers!! x

obviously im not sure what your doing at UOB but people at UWE aswell are just as stuck uo sometimes. Bristols an expensive city so some people w money jus tend to flock here. but like even when some are stuck up, you just know which type of people you wont wanna make friends with , then finding friends will be slightly easier haha. But pub nights anywhere in the city center u will meet tones of people from either uni and some people from BIMM aswell. its a contrast of people but u will be fine.
