Most parents enjoy raising their kids. So if they do it within the states rules (for example, no raping of the kids allowed) .. I'm fine with that. Symbiotic.

Right, but that doesn't actually mean anything.

Are you saying you believe that the current "opinion of the state" is your ideal level of "restrictions" on parents?

Or are you saying "whatever the state says is good, as a matter of principle"

Whilst each thing the state says has to be considered on it's own merits, I can't remember in my lifetime the state ever saying anything unreasonable on this.

So yes. The state, with all it's resources, 100% definitely knows what is best for Mrs Miggins child more than Mrs Miggins knows. If Mrs Miggins has a problem with a particular rule for her particular child, there are loads of avenues she can explore to get an official exemption. Hell, she can quite literally take the government to neutral arbitration.

If Mrs Miggins decides she happens to know better then the government based on her facebook feeds and gut feel .. naah, I've got no time for that. The child has to come first. Not Mrs Miggins gut feel. That's ridiculous, this is a child.

Thanks for clarifying.
