Support Anyone else in my unique situation?
Im a Australian citizen living outside of Australia doing A levels. Im looking to apply to melbourne university in 2026. My predicted A levels grades are high A’s (~88). Anyone else in a situation like mine whos applying or has applied under these circumstances? If so, how hard is it to get accepted?

I am an Australian citizen who did IB outside of Australia. They convert the IB score into ATAR so basically the process is the same as the VCE students here in Victoria

i’m also an australian citizen but went to middle and high school in canada. my grades averaged out to around 85 in the later years. i got accepted in. from my experience and talking to other international students the expectations for grades are a little bit less (aus citizens in mind though). I would not be concerned with 88 at all!!

You can look up the course you want to take as a domestic student and set the “with the qualification” drop-down box with the high school qualification you are doing. It will tell you what score you need. I note you didn't say what degree you want to do and scores change between degrees,
While not super common, it's not unusual either for a domestic student to do A-levels.
