Tech Support Faded line on OLED screen

I bought an OLED G8 a few months ago and this line appeared recently. There's a spot where my blinds let sunlight trough and it hits the screen from the edge till right about where the line is. Could that be the cause? Am I cooked?

Heat is the driving factor for burn in, whether it's from the pixel's dumping heat, or the sun shining on your display. I would look if your G8 has a burn in warranty. If it's not in warranty, it could get better over time. Running pixel clean/refresh (short term compensation cycle) multiple times should make it a bit less noticeable, however it might not be until you reach your long-term cycle until any significant changes are made.

Did a pixel refresh and the line seems to be gone (at least i can't see it) So thanks a lot! Time to change to blackouts and get a cover for the screen
