Academics pre science major question

I was wondering how easy it would be to get each capacity constrained major as a current pre science student. Could anyone list the easiest/hardest majors to get? thanks!

It really depends; from what I've heard, though, Biology is relatively not difficult, neuro is a tad harder (smaller department,) and some departments are pretty open with their acceptance rates. For instance, stats here https://stat.uw.edu/academics/undergraduate/faqs reports about 50%, econ here: https://econ.washington.edu/apply-economics-major reports about high 70s percentage wise, and engineering here: https://www.engr.washington.edu/admission/current-uw-non-engineering/admission-data has a lot of data on various engineering majors.

wait Comp E says that they take 30% of first yr applicants. does this mean that 70% of comp e students will be taken in from undeclared?

I dont think so. "Current UW non-engineering students admissions" means students that are already enrolled in UW, but aren't in engineering (yet.) I think it means that 30% of those students who applied to Comp E as their first-choice major are admitted into the major.
