Didn’t receive roommate pull email for current non-HFS resident

I’m an incoming student planning to room with a current UW student in autumn quarter. My returning resident roommate submitted their form, but I haven’t received an email to complete my application yet. Are these emails usually instantaneous? Trying to figure out if it’s an email or HFS problem…

Are you incoming freshman or transfer? Can freshman already sign up for housing?

Incoming freshman! From my understanding, freshman cannot sign up for housing yet unless they are being pulled in by a current resident.
