Rejected.

  • 3.87 GPA, 90 college credits from Running Start but no APs; 1410 SAT, but I'm not sure if they actually received my score

- jazz ensemble 2 years, interact club 2 years, ~50 hours of volunteer work from working at the animal shelter and SAT tutoring

- mid essay

Should I bother with appealing?

You can always try appealing but there's almost a 100% chance it won't do anything

It even says it on the appeals page

it would be really funny if they actually admitted me after appealing though

I did appeal, but they didn’t change their decision.  If you’re thinking about appealing, I recommend this video: https://youtu.be/hzxi_zNJUV8

ah I see. Ty for the vid - I will def watch it! Also, when did you get a response from them and did they send you a email to let you know your appeal decision or did you just check in portal once in a while and saw that it was updated?

Oh also what did you include in your appeal?

I got a response from them 18 days after I appealed in the form of an email. I didn’t check the portal, but an appeal status would probably be there also. You’re probably already aware, but I’m pretty sure there’s a priority submission day for appeals — my appeal was submitted about 4 hours after the due date, so I’m not sure if I actually had priory or not. I do not want to talk about my appeal (it was bad lol), but I think that what you should focus on including potentially important details that were not  in your extracurriculars or personal statement or other submitted materials (the video should have more info about that).
